Hollywood Studios Questions

2 quick questions:

1) Best counter service in the Studios (we don't have the Dining Plan and there are to Dining reservations available on our day). Also - one family member is gluten intolerant so GF options like salads are very desirable.

2) Birthday Buttons. My little guy will be celebrating his birthday while we are at the park. I know where to stop and get a button at the MK but have no idea where to pick these up at HS.

1. DHS gets a really bad rap for its counter service locations. However, I've heard that ABC Commissary has really improved over the past few years.

2. Guest Services is to you left as you enter the park.

Buttons are at Guest Relations. GR are outside and inside all of the parks.

I'd plan to have the meal along Sunset Boulevard as there are several places to get the food and then all eat together and a table in the central eating area. Catalina Eddie's has a Caesar salad with chicken. Fairfax Fare has a great half chicken and ribs or a combination so all can share. Sides are beans and cole slaw. For those not gluten intolerant, the hot dogs at Fairfax Fare are really good and the pulled pork hot dog is my husband's favorite.
