Hollywood and Vine - Playhouse Disney Characters

Hi,
I am not sure whether this has been asked recently or not. Apologies if it has.

I note that Sophia the First and Doc McStuffins are now at the Disney Junior live on stage and that Little Einsteins are gone. Just wondered whether June has also been replaced.

We are going here on our upcoming trip and I think my 3 and 4 year old girls would actually wet themselves if they saw Doc at lunch

Sofia has a meet and greet outside the show but no Doc in the parks yet.

We did the H&V breakfast on the 2nd and it was June, Oso, Jake and Manny.

Unfortunately it's still oso, June, handy manny and jake. I don't mind the last two as we actually watch them.

I would love for them to hurry up and update it the show has been updated and Sofia is now in the parks.

No rumour of when doc will appear in the parks. She was at the D23 expo in August so some people got excited she was on her way but nothing yet

It wouldn't harm to book one though and if they don't change just cancel it. You would kick yourself if they did change it then couldn't get a reservation. X

My 4 year old is Desperate to meet Doc. I think there could be a meltdown of epic proportions if 2 weeks at Disney go by with no meet with Doc.

Note to Disney: Get your sewing kit out coz we need a Doc McStuffins by 1st January please x

We did the breakfast buffet and really enjoyed the food. My son LOVED getting up close and dancing with Jake. We plan on doing breakfast there again this year, I'm excited about Sofia and Doc, my daughter loves them

Am I the only one that thinks this is just a bit weird?

Having characters that are children the same size as adults?

DD hasn't meet Sofia - I am not sure how to explain away the fact she is so big when she is child. Plus she can't talk unlike all the other princesses. I guess if she was younger it wouldn't matter as much but I want to keep her believing a bit longer yet and have a feeling this would blow it...

I'd explain the same way I do for other characters who can't talk or why tinker bell is so big and can't fly. We're all booked for late breakfast and can't wait. I'm so glad they switched out Oso and June.

She's never met Jake or talking Mickey either

Mickey & co has never been an issue because they've always been that big - she has been meeting them since she was 9 months old. Nows she getting older (5 coming up 6) she asks more questions and has a better understanding - she will want to know why Sofia/Doc/Jake are so tall when they are not much older than her.

Same thing with the talking Mickey - only one talks. The first question will be why? He's never talked before and can't talk in Epcot when it's supposed to be the "same" Mickey just in different clothes.

I get not all kids are the same but she is bright and likes to know everything. Took her to KSC and she spent the whole time asking what everything was and how it worked. I will not lie to her so would rather avoid things that I know will cause questions.

I highly suspect DS (6) to be fully aware that characters are Cast Members. A couple of months ago when we were doing meet&greets he said a few things that seem to imply that he knows that there is someone inside that costume

but still ... kids are so sweet and cute ... I think he plays along because he thinks that WE truly believe that characters are real and he doesn't want to spoil the magic for us ...

They grow up so fast ...
