I just wanted to send a great big THANK YOU out to my Secret Sister. Coming home and getting my package made my day. I had a rough day at work and the things that you got me were so thoughtful and was a box full of Disney magic. So I just wanted to let you know how much I loved everything and it was just perfect.

Should I post pictures?

You can post photos if you like.. that would be awesome to share!!! :)
Glad the box came on a day you could use a pick me up.....

DS got his package today. He was so excited! He got 3 sets of the Star Wars Galactic Heroes, which he loves - he hasn't put them down yet! He didn't have any of those, he just has the regular action figures, so those were perfect! He also got some popcorn to snack on and some boy scrapbook stuff. He was thrilled to get such cool mail and says thank you to his secret buddy. :goodvibes :thumbsup2 Being 4, he doesn't quite understand the "secret" buddy concept and has been driving me crazy asking what his "friend's" name is!! :rotfl:

A big THANK YOU to my Secret Sister!!!!!! I received my package today. Rebecca sent it along with my AK Swap items. You are sneaky to do it that way!!!:rotfl: I just love it all, especially the Montana paper and stickers. Those are wonderful and I can't wait to use them for our Montana trip. DH and I have already discussed how to use the paper. It's a hard one to use with that map in the middle (which I don't want to cover up), but we figured it out!!!!!!!

My package included:
a notepad with a beautiful animal scene (this is going to be one of those notepads I won't use since it's too pretty!)
3 packs of really pretty embellishments (tags, shapes, etc.)
Jolee's Boutique Moose Legs stickers (really cute!)
My Big Ideas Drama/Theatre stickers
Boy Scout rub-ons
12x12 drama paper (the Broadway paper is perfect since DS just got chosen to perform at Districts and will be singing a duet of a Broadway show song!)
Stamping Station Montana stickers :lovestruc

Doing better thanks Rita!

I'm still doing Dis'ing mainly with my left hand, but I can at least hold things now (if they're not too heavy!). I couldn't even opne a lipstick before as I couldn't hold it with my right to take the lid with me left:scared1: I can't do anything that needs pressure - like using a knife - but I have managed to do a little light scrapping thanks to some wonderful swap items:goodvibes I can't journal as writing is painful, but I can just about use photo splits to stick thigs down.

Surfing is a pain but I'm going to get DS(8) to help later - ScrapYour Trip might have stuff as they do a lot of themed bits.

SS if you're listening - DH asked if I would be getting any election goodies in my December package:rotfl: Don't ask me why - I think it was because the BBC preceeds their coverage with oics of two mugs so he things you're all sipping your tea out of Obama or McCain cups:lmao:

Glad to hear your doing better. Just dont rush yourself to much. I know it can be fustrating but better slow go now than a setback later!
I remember all the mugs. In 82 when we were there they still had the wedding stuff and talk was of was it going to be a boy or girl and the factories were gearing up! Of course, it was William!

We will be in London in early June of 2010 and will be staying not far from the "Wheel". Would love to talk to you about it and get some ideas and meet up with you!

I work close to the wheel (just the other side of Westminster - near tate Britain) so would love to meet up (and of course give tips for what to see/avoid). Are you staying at the Marriott? (Formerly County Hall)?

ETA ScrapyourTrip does have theatre stuff :goodvibes:

We will be staying at the Park Plaza County Hall. Do you know anything about this hotel? We are taking the Magic to the Baltics, flying into England and spending 3 days there and finishing with DLP. We decided that if we were going that far, we might as well see/do as much as we can.
Im going to pm you with some q's so that we can get this thread back on topic!:hippie:

Oh you're doing one of the Baltic cruises! I'm jealous. Actually, I am hopeful that one of the cruises we will be doing too. The problem is deciding which one. Since we are hoping for CM discounts, it will probably be out of our hands, whichever one has the best discounts, that's the one we'll be on. I told DH, with the dollar doing so well against the pound, maybe we should get some, just in case. :lmao:

Yep, going to home of the Little Mermaid! We are doing the maiden voyage!
I was on the phone from 5am until 830 waiting to book this puppy! But we got it! Gtd cat 4 but they cant give me a cabin number yet. Hoping for an upgrade since this will be our 4th with DCL!
Im hoping there will be a swap in 2009 and 10 with cruise theme!
I havnt scrapped the Med yet!!
Come join us if you can! Would love to meet you! and one of the ladies on the dcl thread for our cruise is setting up a swapping class for one of the sea days!
:hippie:
AR

We had scrapping class on our cruise too. Starring down at scrap stuff, in Animator's Palette was the only time I've ever felt woozy from the ship rocking. We had quite a lot of movement, during the crossing, but I was fine for most of it. But I couldn't look down for too long while scrapping. I wonder if it is the same lady.
