Holiday Inn and Suites on Walnut Ave. How far to walk?

Has anyone stayed here? They said it was a block from Disneyland but is actually much further from any of the entrances. Sneeky.
But does anyone know how long it takes to walk to Downtown Disney from the hotel? It looks much closer.

We stayed there in May, and found it to be a very pleasant 10 minute walk to the Downtown Disney entrance. And there is almost no waiting for security at that entrance. The room was quite small, but comfortable. It certainly met our minimum requirements of clean, good bed, coffee pot, microwave and small fridge in room. Our one problem was the small, slow elevator, so we mostly took the stairs.

I have stayed there enough to call it my go to hotel at Disneyland. Basically your walking along the outside of the parking structures. My DH is a slow walker, but the walk is about a mile or so.

It is a solid 10 min to DTD at an able bodied brisk pace...then another 4-5 or so to the gates

By far, this is one of my biggest pet peeves about resort area hotels/motels! "One block away" doesn't mean anything with the size of Anaheim blocks, and completely ignores the idea that you can only walk through pedestrian entrances-- they kind of frown upon people trying to climb the walls/berm on the far corners of the park to shorten their walk

Thanks! We usually take the Lyft to the DTD entrance anyway to get to the parks so that will work out well.
