Their "half price deals" are the same price as they were before the promotion
total spin or con if you ask me
I have now just booked a 12-seater minivan for a fortnight for the bargain price of £387![]()
Fab news at least the discount has worked for you. What is a CSMA member though?
I think the sale was for 1 car and Joh got it.![]()
I don't know whether this is the reason but the sale prices were only for cars being collected before 30th october 2009 - that may be the reason why some of you weren't noticing a difference in price.
Paul, I understand what you're saying but it's unfair to say it's not a sale when, quite clearly, it is - I got a car yesterday for less than 50% of the price I was quoted by Holiday Autos on Saturday - sounds like a sale to me![]()

I would imagine they block book cars from Alamo and the sale was of those in periods where they're down on bookings and likely to be left with a surplus. I doubt they're having any problems shifting them in August at full price, even though they're not the cheapest. I'm like Joh and going outside main holiday periods but I still only saved about £30 off a £250 booking. It took it in line with the cheapest I could find. I haven't shopped around much for car hire in the past as I'm happier sticking with what I know unless they've been really expensive
