Holiday 2014 Shopping Thread

Is anyone else out there impatiently waiting for the Spring/Summer clothes to come into the shops so you can go and do some holiday SHOPPING ?!!!

Has anyone picked up any bargains in the sales, or have you seen anything that you want to treat yourself to ?

I was pleased to see over the last week or so the start of the Mantaray swimwear coming into Debenhams, and Asda have got some swimwear in too

So let us know what you've bought, or hoping to buy and if possible post a pic of it here too ... bring on the Summer clothes shopping

I desperately need to sort out some summer clothes for Florida! I want some nice shorts (I have none that fit) and/or some 3/4 length trousers... and maybe some new Crocs (debating what will be best for lots of walking around in)...

Ordinarily I'd be all over this , but as I'm still on a strict diet and training for my run , I have no idea what size I will be come September,

Last year I did manage to pick up a couple of pairs of Flip-flops in the sale and I got some free travel size toiletries with a Sainsbury's voucher I received for doing online surveys.

I do need to find a nice outfit for my birthday meal , and a good pair of park shoes , I survived in cheap flip flops last time but I have a bad foot ( it got crushed by a horse 10 years ago and still gives me trouble) which needs a bit of TLC if I do too much walking .

I look forward to shopping when I get down to my smaller size.

I love holiday shopping! Much better than regular shopping.

I'm good for footwear, it's just shorts & 3/4 length trousers I have problems with. I struggle to find things that fit over my rear end lol. I've recently started jogging so hopefully I'll be in better shape for May. This is our last trip for a while so I want to look good on photos.

Where's everyone's favourite shopping haunts?

Ooooooo yes me! me!

I'm desperate to see what summer stuff Fatface have.... and then hopefully pick it up in the end of summer sales!

We're not going until November, but hopefully will still be good weather.

I've just bought new suitcases from Debenhams, large ones reduced from £150 to £32!

The first step would be knowing where we are going. Alaska and Panama Canal are both strong possibles for May and would require a completely different kind of holiday shopping. I know that Hawaii is on the menu for November, but I think I will do the holiday shopping for that in Hawaii as I love the dresses I got there last time round.

As I went away last April, I picked up a lot of clothes during the Summer, so I actually don't need that much (not that that will stop me shopping ). I picked up this dress in the Coast sale

and I picked up these pj's in Primark this week

I've also seen some swimwear and shorts in Debenhams, but will hold off until they have a 20% off event instore

Debenhams have got 20% off vouchers in the Daily Mail some days this week, so I treated myself to this Bikini top

and these Board Shorts

My local Debenhams didn't have this Tankini top in, but I will need it to cover up my tummies after the first week of my cruise so hopefully I'll pick it up later this week

With the next holiday finally booked, I have been indulging in some holiday shopping. I ordered my embarkation shirt from Vistaprint with a design that a very talented and generous person did for me:



I also ordered my formal and semi formal night dresses:

This is the prototype for one of them. I will wear this dress for the Golden Mickeys night and it will be gold with dark blue embroidery:



I also found those to go with it:



The other two dresses are based on this dress, but minus the train:



One will be Wedgewood blue with an darker blue as contrast and the other will be lilac with purple as contrast. Both will have silver embroidery.
