Holiday 2014 Shopping Thread

I really like these! So pretty and they look comfortable. :goodvibes

It's 6 weeks to the day that we fly and all I have brought so far is 3 pairs of shorts from Primark. I still need to buy swim wear, a few dresses and some tops/t-shirts. I got two vouchers through the post from Matalan, one is 20% off purchases over £25 in store and one is £10 off purchases over £25 online so I maybe making use of them. I should probably buy some more footwear too! Writing this has made me realise how unorganised I am :rotfl:

I really love those sandals. I have massive problems getting sandals that fit. So getting a pair that looks good, is comfortable and fits is a real bonus.

As to swimwear, I managed to get some really great swimsuits at Asda. I was really surprised that they had plus sizes and I like them better than most of the other ones I have seen.

After I did not bring back most of my swimsuits from the last holiday, I needed to do some serious swimsuit shopping this time round. Between water- based excursions, swimming in the hotel pool and hopefully hanging out at the Rainforest Room, I need a good collection. Those swimsuits came from ASDA and were a real bargain.

This one was only £6.00:

Those were £12.00 each:

The last one will work perfectly for our trip in Hawaii in November, too, but of course they will all come.

I think I am officially done with my holiday shopping this year. I got those dresses to wear for dinner during the cruise:

I also go one last swimsuit:

I ordered a pair of Fat Face cargo shorts of eBay today... £4.20! :)

Such a bargain, and I love Fat Face stuff (just can rarely justify the price!)

I finally decided on the dress for my birthday dinner.

Completely different from what I had originally planned but I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it , it was a Bargain too, less than £18 delivered

This dress is absolutely beautiful and what a bargain.

I had thought that I was done with my holiday shopping, but then this caught my eye this morning. I managed to get this in a flash sale at 25% off with free next day delivery. I will wear this for Brunch at Palo on our upcoming cruise.

Loving everyone sharing their shopping I'm going in August and have just about started thinking about I am going to be wearing. Planning on buying shorts and matching tops and then maybe a few dresses for in the evenings. Anyone seen any petite maxi dresses anywhere?

Yes, they are very comfy around the house and unlike previous walking sandals that I have had are not too chunky looking.

I'm now waiting for the sun to return so I can wear them before my holiday. :)

Loads of fab purchases so far!! Love the sandals they look v comfy!

I got this dress at the weekend, hoping to wear it to kona cafe for dinner.

And I got some crocs and the weekend also,

Wearing these around the house at the moment to "break them in" lol they are a little less comfortable than the classic croc that has a wide fit.

And,

I got the black cause it's just not as in your face as the other colours in the classic croc style. Last year I didn't bring any of the classic croc style and I was sorry I didn't my poor feet were killing me lol

I found this pineapple print dress, in Asda , I'm thinking of wearing it on the day we go to Kona Cafe.

And My DH picked these shorts up in New Look in the sale.

hi mandy,

yes i have been doing some summer shopping for cloths for my 9 old boy and 7 year old daughter out of next in readiness for there trip to disney in late october as buying there cloths now i can get them what they need. if we didnt buy now the autumn range of cloths would be in the shops by then. so far ive been able to get everythink we need for them right now

Decided to ask this here instead of starting a whole new thread, hope you don't mind!

I think I'm almost finished any holiday shopping I just have to find some new swimsuits. The only problem is I'm too tall for normal swimsuits so any cheap cute ones are a no go! However; any long length swimsuits I find range between £40-£60 and don't want to pay that for just the resort pools and the water parks! I don't suppose anyone has any experience of where to find nice longer length swimsuits for a student friendly price?!
