I'm such a horrible DIS-er :sad2: I have seen numerous threads on the HOJO rates and how wonderful Lorealle and others are. However, I'm embarassed to say that I sort of skimmed instead of reading. Now I am in need!

My husband works for the Hilton corporation so we get a GREAT rate at the Anaheim Hilton. Our rooms are booked, but there is a possibility that my husband could get a promotion with another company, which means no deal at the Hilton. I would like to know how to find out if the entertainment rate is available for my dates so that I can contact them immediately if we need it.

Sorry to be such a slacker - I appreciate any help I can get!

Hello Disney Princess!

That link that SnowWhite09 posted is definitely the best place to check and see very quickly if the Entertainment Rate is available for the dates that you're looking to stay with us- but you can also give our In-House Reservations Team a call at 714-776-6120! We'd be more than happy to help you get your stay booked! :goodvibes

Our In-House Reservations is open Monday-Friday from 8a-5p, and on Saturday from 8a-1p. You can also book online by using the ET code 'SD50'. You don't need your ET Card to make the reservations- but you will need to show your valid ET Card to our Front Desk Staff when you check in, so don't forget to bring it with you! :D

I hope this helps and that we hear from you - and see you - soon!

Thank you both so much! You are so helpful - just as I've heard. :thumbsup2 I'll chat with my husband to finalize our plans and we'll get on it.

Have a wonderful night!

Hi!
I'm a newbie to DL (but a WDW vet). As always the DIS is great with info.
I was lurking to find the best hotel - with small kids we like the sounds of HOJOs.
I just called the ressie line and got quite a rude agent :confused3
She said that the only 'ent' book ressies were the 15% off...and then didn't want to look at another date for me (we're pretty flexible with our travel dates for May 2009). Said "they're basically all the same.."
I got outta that phone call fast - and then went straight to you all...do you think the great ent rates are just used up for those dates? Or did I just get a difficult person? Should I keep trying back?
(we're looking for 2 rooms - 4 adults and 3 kids).
Thanks!

You need to make sure you are speaking with "IN HOUSE" reservations. If you get a general agent, they won't honor the true ent. rate and will often be rude about it (as others can attest to). I'm sure that's what happened to you.

If you look at the link mentioned above and you find your dates are on the list, you can email Lorealle Bishop at lorealle.bishop@hojoanaheim.com and she will be happy to help you with your reservation.

Hi Profjen,

In order to get the Entertainment Rate, you need to call Hojo Anaheim in-house reservations. When you call just ask to speak with in-house reservations and speak with Lorealle or Jennifer they are both very helpful and will be able to tell you if the Entertainment Rate is available on the dates you want to go. The number is 714.776.6120. You can also check the following link to see if your dates are available:

Yeah, you were definitely sent to one of the 800 number operators.

ONLY call during pacific time business hours, NOT at lunchtime. I once called during lunch It rang and rang, and then I could hear a difference on the "line", and it was picked up. I asked if they were "in house reservations" and they said yes, then proceeded to talk about the low percentage etc, didn't know about the GREAT rate. I asked again if she was in house, she said yes, I asked if she was right there, IN Anaheim, and she finally said no, and I ended the call. Silly lying 800 number agents.

Nothing like the people there in Anaheim; they are nice and lovely and wonderful! And don't giggle when you forget you're wearing your Pooh ears (not on a headband, but they are actual barrettes with ears on them) and are asking a serious question, all the while looking like a total goof with your Pooh ears on....:rotfl:

Aww I am sorry to hear this! Do make sure you call their local number and ask for in house reservations. I called yesterday and a nice man answered the phone and switched me over to jennifer. She was so nice! Even put in a room and floor request for me. Which I have never stayed there before so I had no idea what to pick...she explained the room types and prices and then helped me pick a floor :) And Lorealle has even responded in this thread...so nice. I think they have a reputation for being accomidating and helpful but above all they're kind...have I mentioned kind yet? So please do try again!!! You wont regret it! :goodvibes

Just wanted to say thanks for the information. I found this thread to today and will be saving $200 by booking directly with the hotel and buying tickets over the package I had booked thru Disney travel.

Jennifer was super nice and I am looking foward to my trip in April!!:yay:
