Professor Black: Melanie didn't dare tell Evan what else she'd suggested, perhaps that should be kept to herself. Maybe obliviate them on that part. After all, it would only make them happier. "Have no students heard about the attack?" she asked, frowning.

Prof. Smith: He shrugged. "I don't know."

Prof. Smith: He shrugged. "I don't know."

Professor Black: If they didn't, the rebelling would make sense to her. "It would make sense, if they really don't know. Of course, that wouldn't stop Jackson. He seems to think he's invincible," she shook her head.

Prof. Smith: "I thought I was invincible at thirteen. Now that Voldemort's gone I'm not surprised it's even more true these days. And I'm not surprised at Veronica either. She's sixteen and has been treated like a grown up healer, and then she was told she would basically be taken everywhere like a little girl. It's the same situation as Christine. Christine was a rebel just like the rest of us, and then we told her she couldn't fight in the battle. No wonder she snuck back."

Professor Black: She couldn't deny that what Smith said was true. "If I wasn't so sure it's those four that are in danger, I'd've never suggested it. But I suppose you're right," she said, then smiled. "Now how do you suppose you apologize for breaking the news to Jackson?" she asked. It did quite bother her that he'd been so upset with that, but she wasn't going to let Evan see through her, not when he'd gone through so much more.

OOC: Jane is not against being with a teacher at all times - she's just a very angery at Jackson, not Melanie.

Prof. Smith: "I'll just tell you straight out, he won't be happy to see you or hear you name right now. You might want to wait for him to cool down, he's probably quite angry and plotting revenge. But anyway, I'd start by admitting you went overboard. It would be better to admit that you overreacted rather than say it's your job to ensure the safety of the students or whatever, he'll just scoff at that. If you're going to play the 'I understand how you feel' angle, just tell a story about the war, or a me-you-and-Christie story during the more tense times or whatever, but don't actually say 'I know how you feel', he's a thirteen year old kid, he thinks he's the only one whoever felt pain."

OOC: gotcha. Yeah Mel has a thing for taking responsibility for everything, so yeah she's going to feel guilty anyway.

OOC: Does it matter if she DOES obliviate them? Lol she feels guilty

I'm fine with that, but that is a little dark for her, you know? It might come back to bite her later.

Professor Black: She just laughed. "Well then, if that's the way he wants to play it. I'll let you get on with your work now, again sorry to bother you," she said, opening the door. Not long after she began walking she ran into Jackson.
OOC: queue Jackson! :)

OOC: Night!
