Jane: She received a letter. Her grandfather worked at the ministry, and it had been taken over. She moaned. She tore off the 'Dear Jane' and 'Sincerely Grandpa' part and sent it to Professor Black. It was anonymous.

Mrs. Romanova: "Most of the Eagle Corps went to England or Austrailia, your father and I will probably join the underground group once we're ear to leave," she said to her son, Looking at the adults, she explained, "The Eagle Corps are a group comparable to your Order of the Phoenix. There's a bunch of similar groups all over the country."

Mr. Romanov: "Anya will have to go without an education for a while, no one in the Corps is really a suitable teacher, but it's not like we have another option."

Alexei: "Why don't you just leave her here? I can keep an eye on her."
