Ho Jo Enchanted Land

Has anyone stayed at the Howard Johnsons Enchanted Land in Kissemee?

If so, any input would be appreciated. The price is $36 for a standard room and $48 for the EnchantedLand Kids room.

Sounds too good to be true.

I stayed there one night with my son. We stayed at a kidsuite and it was okay. It's really just an old room with a divider and a long bar that held the tv's microwaves, drawers, etc. There was no one at the treehouse check in and there was no treat bag or anything. It's not bad but not really special and you get what you pay for.

We stayed for a night in Oct before we got into our weeklong rental. It was fine for the price, and for 1 night. It would have been a bit crowded for the 5 of us for a week. The room was like Kay1 described. I thought the check in people were very nice- they let u sinto our room pretty early. The pool was cold. The kids went to some kind of ice cream party.
If you are looking for a weekly rental, I would suggest Skyauction.com. I just got a week at a 2 bedroom condo for $250(tax and fees included). We also did this last year and it was great to have the space and kitchen and extra baths.
If you are interested, do a search on these boards- lots of people on here have used them. The 'ready, set, go' auction is the one you will have the most luck with.
