we are planning a family/friends outing to HH in late Sept early Oct. will this be difficult to book at 7 month window? we will want a 2 BR. Our travel dates are flexible.

thanks!!!

You should not have a problem at the 7 month window.
The weather should be great at that time of year.

Have Fun

That should be a great time to be there and the 7 month priority will likely be fine- especially if you want a 2BR.

Enjoy!

You should be fine at 7 months. WE gave our Niece and her husband a 3 night Honeymoon there 2 years ago in October and they loved it then. Even went into ocean for swimming! We love HH! Have been there for 4 holiday seasons and can't wait to return for next year(this year at WDW!)
Connears

My wife and I were there within that time frame this yaer and the weather was great and the island was not crowded (got a 1 bedroom at the 7 month window).

Just be aware, one of the main reasons that it is cheap points then and there are not many ppl there during Sept/ Oct is that it is Hurricane Season, and the SC coastline is Hurricane prone (remember Hugo, and...).
Of course, the chances of a Hurricane hitting HHI exactly when you are there is fairly remote, but it is a possibility, and a heightened possibility at that time. Yeah, it's not like the Carribean where you are more or less guaranteed to get Hurricane activity, but is is a lot more likely than in say, Maine or Vermont (to name some personal Fav's at that time of year; of course there isn't much swimming going on there ;)).

I'm sure you'll do fine, but it is important to go in with your eyes open.
Cute baby, BTW.

thanks for your help!!! A hurricane will not bother me--but DH might get upset as he is looking forward to the golf!! LOL!

We are really looking forward to the trip!
