Aw, Cap'n Jack's was the very first Disney restaurant that DH and I ever visited together. That was almost 7 years ago and the food was really good back then (as was the DDP value!). I am a little sad to see it go.

Sorry to hear that. It was one of our favorite go-to spots when we would meet people from out of town for lunch, etc. When we lived in FL and a friend was coming to the Orlando area but didn't have time to go to the parks with us --- or had already been worn out by their grandkids at the parks --- we'd meet at Downtown Disney and have lunch
We liked the food, the atmosphere, and always liked spending a half day at Downtown Disney when we weren't up to the parks or didn't have a full day to spend there.
