7. pack clothes

But I notice one thing not on that list.

Congrats. So my oh so subtle reminders worked? I didn't want to be obnoxious about it, so I tried to slip it into casual conversation whenever I could. I bet you barely noticed.

So I woke up today with a smile on my face…. Why do you ask?!?!?! Look at my tickers!! Single digits and I’m into the 3 month range for my December trip!!! YAY!!! Today is definitely going to be a good day!!!

So as I mentioned in my post yesterday one of the major things that I have to tackle before we leave is laundry!!! Yeah… Didn’t even touch it last night. I had planned to, but then work threw me a curveball and I didn’t get home till after 7:30p and I promised my mom I would go over for dinner when I got home (long story short I fainted in church on Sunday, most likely b/c I didn’t eat, so now my mom is all worried about me and making sure I eat). By the time I got home it was after 8:30p so I decided to just go to bed…. See procrastinating!

In other news… Devon had his first night of football practice last night and from what I was told he loved it!!! His dad played football his whole life, matter to fact he still plays in a rough touch league all year long to this day and all he wants is for Devon to follow in his foot steps! We’ll see… Devon’s heart is really with baseball though.

Anyway that’s about all I got for now. Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

I HATE laundry myself... my problem being I hate to hang and put it away!!! If it magically came out of the dryer ready to hang in the closet, it would be SOO much better!

Can't wait for you to go on your trip! It's going to make Dec even MORE special, since he really won't be expecting it, you know?

I so hear ya on the laundry thing! I don't mine actually putting it in the washer and dryer, its the folding, hanging and putting away I hate!!

I know we are super excited to our trip next week! And yes, this mini trip is definitely going to throw Devon for a loop, I highly doubt he will be expecting to go 2 times in less then 4 months! I hope he is excited when I tell him in Dec.

I am one of those poeple who wants to pack like 4 months before a trip. LOL! In fact the other day I went through my travle box and organized all my shampoos, brushes, toothpastes, etc. LOL!

Good morning all!!! T minus 8 days and counting until I arrive in Disney!!! YAY!!!

So I woke up this morning and guess what…. I don’t feel good!!! Sore throat and sinus pressure, not a good thing when you are leaving for vacation in a week! Especially when flying!!! So my plan is to try and take it easy for the next few days and get this little bug out of me quickly!

On the bright side, I got all my wash done last night so that is a huge accomplishment in the list of things to do!!! Unfortunately I will not be marking off any of the items on my to so list tonight as I have a client happy hour and dinner that I have to attend. So the goal for tonight when I finally walk in the door is to as least put all the clothes away! Yeah, we’ll see if that happens!

In other news, I feel like such a bad mommy… As mentioned in Monday’s post I told you that Devon started football on Monday. Well it didn’t even dawn on me that there is a lot of rolling around and playing in the grass!!! DEVON IS ALLERGIC TO GRASS!!!! Poor kid called me up last night and told me he broke out in a rash all over! My worry now is that when he is in the grass too much the allergy induces asthma! So now, we are not even sure if he is going to be able to continue to play!!! We are going to see how he does the rest of the week and make a decision after that. I talked to the doctor a few minutes ago and she pretty much said to hold off giving him his inhalers and try an antihistamine after practice tonight to see how that works. So now we just wait and see!

As far as the December trip goes… I called Disney this morning and added 2 more days of park tickets to our package! So we now have an 8 days park hopper instead of 6!!! YAY! So the plan is to use the 2 extra days as follows:

We were originally not going to a park on 12/3 check in day, but now that we arrive at 10:54a that day I am thinking we will heading to Epcot!!! Also on 12/8 we were planning on going to Universal/IOA, but now that we are going there next week, we plan to just stay in Disney the whole time when we are there in Dec! Not sure what park we are going to that day… I’m thinking we are going to hop from deluxe resort to deluxe resort to check out the holiday décor and hit whatever park we are near at the time! It’s pretty much an up in the air day!
