Hilton honours offer?

Hi all... We are new to Hilton Honors reward program. When we went to book a local hotel here in our province, we were transferred to a special offers customer service person. The offer wad if we stay at an Orlando Hilton and go to a Hilton info session for two hours we would have our two or three night hotel reimbursed.

We feel it is legit because it is right from Hilton but we wonder if there's any other catches. We know we're responsible for everything else. Apparently an $800 deal for three nights. We pay 299 or so up front them get reimbursed after attending the session.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I have stayed at The Hilton next to DTD many times and they have a time share desk there that offers a similar deal for there other time share locations like Vegas. So I know they do have offers like what you described.

It's a timeshare offer, so if you know how to say know, it might be worth the couple of hours. I've stayed at the Hilton in Downtown Disney area but I don't know what their current offers are to go on the TS tour.

One thing to keep in mind is that most of the Hilton's in the Orlando area are not $300 a night rooms, unless you are staying at an actual resort such as Hilton Grand Vacations and have a 2 or 3 bedroom.

If you are considering a TS purchase be sure and check the resale market - prices are giveaway versus buying directly from Hilton.

Hilton Lake Buena Vista is a Downtown Disney hotel. It is part of the Downtown Disney Hotel bus system, not the Disney bus system. The bus will pull in and stop right in front of the hotel.

The walk to Downtown Disney is only a few minutes since the Hilton is right across the street. Great place to eat, shop and wander.
