We are going to HH in August, but not staying at the Disney Resort. We would like to check it out while we are there. Is there any fun meal options or activiites that we could do?

If you are not staying at the resort, you will not be able to participate in any activities. it is gated and only guest staying at the resort can get thru.

Yes you can tour the resort. There are two placers to eat on by the mail pool which is quick service and the other at the beach house which you will need a key card. A lot of the cast members do not mind if others participate in the resort activites. We have my cousin who don't stay on property come for the day and we all did Tye- dye.
