Hilton Head pool towels???

I was just wondering if there are pool towels at the Hilton Head pools like there are at WDW resorts. I would hate to pack all of those heavy beach towels if I don't have to! We are off this Saturday! Whoo-Hoo!!

Yes, they have them there. However, it seemed like last trip we were there (July last year) they were not always available. Maybe this has changed but they didn't always have the cabinets open. At times, you had to ask for towels at the CM desk next to the main pool. I think that towels at the beach house were available during the hours the van ran between the resort and the beach house. If this has changed, I'm sure someone will post the correct information.

We were at HH last month - Easter week. Towels were only available at the lowere level desk - near the pool - from a CM.

Although the "towel cabinet" was not locked, it was not stocked with towels.

I think they have been having problems with people taking 4-5 towels per person. At VB in march we had to grab towels at the desk by the pool. At HH the pools can look crowded and there will be lack of chairs even when no one is around. People have a hard time there putting towels away. They leave them on the chairs like they are going to save them all day. I like grabing towels out of the bin, but it is just as easy to ask. ( they are not scary ) Washing less towels everyday will help keep our dues down. As for beach towels, the pool towels are not as big as beach towels. they are the same size as shower towels.

If you're planning on going to the beach, you may want to bring some larger beach towels or a beach blanket. There has been a problem in the past with people taking several towels to the beach and leaving them there. That's why there often are not enough towels to go around at the beach house pool!

We were there in the beginning of April. There were plenty of towels at the beach house, but there were not enough at the Big Dipper pool. In addition, all of the towels in the cabinet were damp. The towels are bath sized towels.

I'd recommend bringing your own.
