Hilton Head in mid April

What kind of weather should we expect. Will we be able to enjoy the ocean or will it be too cold?

April is one of the most beautiful months on HHead! The flowering shrubs are in bloom, and the weather is usually beautiful. If you want to full-on swim in the ocean, the water may still be cool. But walking the beach will be lovely.

I totally agree! We were there in April 2011 and the weather was beautiful. Although the ocean may be cool, if you're staying at the resort the pools are heated, so swimming there is no problem.
