hilton head how do you get there drive/airplane?

I also would be very interested in hearing your experiences driving from the Atlanta airport.

I have driven from HHI to ATL once when our flight from SAV-ATL was cancelled. It is a pretty easy drive but make sure you eat before you leave the metro area, most of the drive is thru nowhere. There are no towns close to the interstate for the southern portion of the drive. Other than that it isn't too bad at all.

We're thinking of trying to get in at the 7mt window for March 09. Does this sound doable or is it generally booked at that time frame. We would love to drive down from W. MD for a five night stay just for a relaxing vacation and teaser until our Dec. 09 stay in WDW.

The excursions and campfire gatherings and the unbirthday look like tons of fun! Sorry to sort of hijack the thread, but I just love hearing all the talk of traveling there!!!

Hey liljam- I think you wil be able to book something for that timeframe. This year we got Easter week at 7 months in a 1 bdrm. The resort is mostly dedicated 2 bdrms, so if you want a 1 bdrm or studio you should definately do day-by-day, but I think you would get in. This is a great place for kids, I know your little bundle is too young now, but in a few years HHI will be SO much fun for your little one. There are so many fun activities for kids and families.
