We have an opportunity to go to the Hilton Head
DVC Resort Thanksgiving week (Wed.-Sun.), my husband is concerned that there won't be much to do there in November. We have two daughters ages 7 and 11. Any thoughts or comments will be greatly appreciated. We have never been there before. Thank you.
My kids are 9 & 11 and they LOVE HH at T'giving. This will be our 4th year there and the kids are already (or I could say "still") planning wht they will do this year.
They love swimming, walking along the beach, biking around the resort, Kids Night Out, B'Lou Crabbe, playing pool, renting movies, meeting up with other kids, the campfire, Turkey Bowl, shuffleboard, etc, etc.
We love this resort so much. It is so relaxing and the CMs are wonderful. It is a small enough resort that the kids get to know each other (you see the same folks over & over -- that's a good thing! -- and it has a real "family" feeling (again, that's a good thing!

).
You can also take time away from the resort to explore HHI or head into Savannah or Charleston.
I really can't imagine being bored. If anything, you'll feel your time is not enough. Also, about a week or so before you go call the resort and have them fax you a copy of the resort activites for that week. You won't be able to sign up for them but it will give you a chance to plan your days.
Have fun!
