Hilton Bonnet Creek

Thinking about our way too distant trip as this will be our 10th trip we're looking at the Hilton and we're wondering has anyone stayed here recently?

It's according to Virgin 5 star, it's a bit more expensive than we normally look at paying so is it really worth the extra

We stayed there for a week in October. With Virgin Holidays you get free parking, breakfast, internet and the resort fee is included, so I didn't think the price was bad. I don't know how much you've been quoted, but we paid about £115 a night.

It's lovely and clean, spotless in fact, the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are a good size. The pool is lovely, but it's mainly just one big lazy river and not very deep at all. You can use the Waldorf next door, but we never did so I can't comment on that. The one at the Hilton is zero entry though, so good for little ones. We stayed there and the Hyatt Grand Cypress, which I didn't like. The room at the Hilton definitely felt like a step up when we moved to it.

We booked a couple of days at the Hilton again at the end of a Disney stay this year, but we've since changed to the Hard Rock, purely for the Universal fast passes or we'd have been happy to go back there.

Also look at other resorts at Bonnet Creek and compare. We are staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek in Sept, got a 2 bed (1300sqft) villa for under £70/nt.

Rosen Shingle Creek is in a totally different area. We have never stayed there but considered it many times, usually around £40/nt but I believe there is a parking fee or resort fee which put me off.
UKDEB has stayed there but she doesn't post often and she is away now so doubt she will see this.
