Ma'am, I am a southern gentleman indeed. ;)

so what did you think about Hillary's how she handled herself?

Presidential:thumbsup2

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Obama Land
WizardLollipop.jpg

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Can someone explain to me, why it is acceptable to hold Hillary accountable for her personal relationship with her family, friends, and co-workers...but it is not OK to hold Obama accountable for his 20 year relationship with his "wacky uncle?"

Because as far as Obama, His supporters & the Press are concerned...Obama is the 2nd Coming and is above reproach!:snooty:

I'm thinkin' Obama's amazed too :lmao:

But he just doesn't get that it is an issue to some people.

Again because he is above the "silly season"!!!!!:snooty:

Now what is scary...as a kid I went to Parochial School all run by Nuns. Back in the day ....some had a very demeaning attitude towards the kids....Obama sooooooooo reminds me of some of the Nuns I use to have back then! Maybe this is why he is loosing the catholic vote!

What he does is HIGH BROW, everybody else is so below him...and he gives them and their concerns poo-poo labels...such as "silly season"
He is one condesending bistardich :snooty:

(i made up a new word)

I saw y'all were talking about Oz upthread and it made me think of those flying monkey that scared the peepee out of me when I was a kid. :lmao: .

Admit it.....They still freak you out!;)

1) I read on some liberal blog somewhere recently (sorry, forgot where) that Tom Daschle, who is BO's super delegate wrangler, says that almost all of supers are decided, and will support Obama. The "uncommitted ones" are waiting to do so because they don't want to be seen as speaking for the voters, thus will wait until after Kentucky and Montana vote. He says this will happen no matter what occurs in NC or IN. Now I though the SD system was a bit more fluid than that, but I'm sure Tom Daschle has infinite more insight about that than I do

2) A friend of mine who is a NC Dem party insider says that Bill has advised Hillary to shoot for 2012. Her gambit here is that she stays in the race and makes a muck of things, yet also accruing a positive image as a fighter and leader who won't quit. The general election almost certainly falls to McCain, whom America would never re-elect at age 76. Ta-dah... Door is open for Clinton in 2012. Now whether he knows something (which I sorta doubt) or whether this is something that came to him during his morning constitutional, I do not know. FWIW, I do know that a version of this gambit is making the rounds on the non-righty talk radio circuit in NC the last couple of days.

:lmao: I heard the same thing on a Independant Sirius channel this am. There does seems to be a concentrated effort in the past 2 days by obama supporters to get the word out that the rest of teh SD's are really backing Obama!

However......WHY didnt they come out and support him when he was riding high...and it was the "cool" thing too do????? Their is more to this than meets the eye.

Also .......The media is saying that the SD's will go with the voters...blah blah blah! Unless if a SD goes for Obama in a state he lost...then its ok.:confused3 The media is saying that the SD' will go with the will of the people, because the SD NEED TO SATISY THEIR CONSITUIENTS.

About 70% of the still left undeclared SD's DONT HAVE CONSITUIENTS. THEY ARE NOT ELECTED OFFICIALS. THEY ARE PARTY LEADERS.

This the media does not report on.:confused3

Hey! We're the one with the Wicked Witch of the West. They Flying Monkeys are on our side!

 THAT makes us Flying Monkeys!!!!!:lmao:

There is some fear of alienating the "black voters" who are still extremely important to the democratic party. I think this race is still very competitive and either one can win. Nothing will be decided before the Puerto Rico primary (where the Governor did Hillary a big favor and got indicted).

Presidential:thumbsup2

 THAT makes us Flying Monkeys!!!!!:lmao:

:thumbsup2 Presidential.....and as for the flying Monkeys I think she was referring to the Conservatives have the Flying Monkeys and we have Hillary the Wicked Witch.....but that's okay because the DEMS also have ALL of Obama land and the 3 lollipop kids :rotfl2: think I prefer the Wicked Witch....must make us her Army (what ever her army was called) :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

By the way dont forget the second part of Bill and Hillary is on tonight :thumbsup2

Hay I made a donation and attached a note to it and it was posted on the Hillary web page... I am so famous....mine is the last one it was one of ther favorite. Would you like my autograph :worship: :lmao:

What a great month April was for this campaign. Hillary's double-digit victory in Pennsylvania turned the tide of this race, and your generosity in the past 48 hours made our match program an incredible success.

More than 25,000 people contributed to the match program. And whether you gave for the very first time or matched a new donor's gift with your own, your efforts are driving this campaign all the way to victory.

We received some genuinely touching messages from people who contributed in the past few days, and I wish I could share every last one of them. Here are a few of my favorites:

Thanks so much for matching my contribution. I can't afford much but with you matching it makes a difference. Again, thanks!

I am counting on Hillary to ensure health insurance for every American. Thank you for supporting Hillary. This is the first time I have ever been motivated to contribute. And thanks for making twice the impact.

:worship: Hillary is a fighter and we need to fight for her all the way to the White House. Go Hillary!

Thank you again for making the match program, the month of April, and this campaign a huge success. We've got great momentum heading into the Indiana and North Carolina primaries on Tuesday, and it's all thanks to you!

Sincerely,

I've heard that bit about Hillary staying in it to make sure McCain wins before. I can't imagine her doing it for that reason, that just doesn't ring true to me.

On another note it's interesting the way things look in NC right now...

Highly doubtful. There are so many crazy and hateful accusations that don’t even have an ounce of truth in them made against that woman and it’s amazing how she handles it all in stride and with such dignity. It only makes me respect her more and confirms my belief that she has a strong enough character to face any challenge that the POTUS would have to face. I don’t believe that she is intentionally trying to stay in and give McCain the win – I don’t think she could pull a scheme like that off and remain in enough of a positive favor for a shot at 2012. Honestly, I think she’s there until the very end to try to win for 2008.

Thats coming from the Obama camp!:sad2:

As per OS'es...Why else would anyone run against Obama?:confused3
:rolleyes1

The Obama camp here is making noise about people here saying nasty things about Obama supporters. I had to remember to use the word "some" so I don't appear to be painting everyone with the same brush but I'm not sure if that would make a difference.

Liberals are still spending way too much time squabbling with each other IMO. McCain's sitting there with a big bulls eye on his back and no one is firing.

I went back over there and told Wvery that we were playing and that we all have names including us having the wicked Witch and we are her ugly army....I =also asked him why he gets so offended about it. I gave him a challenge to come up with a name for me that has to do with Hillary and I promise not to get offended...I told him to make me laugh...I wont laugh at him but with him:thumbsup2 by the way to add I did tell him he could have the wicked witch and army and we could be Hillary land !:thumbsup2

I cant get why they get so offended. I don't know how many times they have in so many words called us idiots and stupid(not in those words but implies) for supporting someone like Hillary and we don't go and call them out about it.

I never get offended and would not. They can say what they want about me or Hillary that's there choice:confused3 I do get offended when they coming and try to make trouble. That is a different issue. They can say what they want in there thread...it is there safe haven to do so. IMO

I do not go to the Obama thread, neither to read nor post. It should be their place to vent just like this thread should be ours. There is no reason for confrontation IMO. It usually turns ugly.

I agree! The trouble is that a few of them end up coming over here and calling people on whatever bothered them. I don't want anyone to feel offended but this is a political fight! :confused3

Just wanted to give your girl some props. She really impressed me with her BOR interview and I think that she is a really strong woman. She did not have to do that interview, but doing so really proved that she is not afraid to answer hard questions and go up against some hard people to debate. Good for her!

Kristine

I actually don't give a darn how they feel right now. I get that they don't like Hillary, and that they want Obama to win but that whole Hildabeast thing makes me sick. Why on God's green earth is it okay to call her that, but heaven forbid we post a pick of an Obama lookalike in a clown suit. I am sick to death of the double standard.

Yes. It is all political, but some people tend to make it personal, particularly if they have a strong emotional attachment to their candidate.

I really do admire her spunk almost as much as her hard work and knowledge. Thank you for the kind words.

When we pick on Obama, we are racist but when they pick on Hillary, it's because she a "monster" :dance3: It's enough to drive anyone batty.

I can tolerate just about any criticism of Hillary. I even get that some of them are deserved. But the term "Hildabeast" really makes me sick. It's vile and don't get that any democrat would stand by while that occured. I'm so over the double standard.

So - has anyone seen this memo from a super delegate.

Maybe all the supers are voting for Obama no matter what? A HUGE MISTAKE in my opinion........ and depressing to read.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/05/on_my_switch_from_clinton_to_o.html

I read it. All it says is that Andrew is voting for Obama. It does not mean anything about the other SDs. I was listening to NPR today and Harry Reid (who said he would not say who he is voting for until after the primaries are over) sounded a lot like he was leaning to Hillary (just my interpretation).
