Hillary supporters Unit #3 ..yes we are still here!

I agree that Bush probably could not have prevented the attacks, but I do hold him responsible for his response to those attacks. Building a false case against Iraq, dismissing intelligence reports and inspector reports that Iraq did not have WMDs, etc.

I agree Bush messed up with Iraq, no question about that. Although I am glad Sadam Huessin is gone!

Even though I can not stand Bush, I just can not blame him for 9/11 or hate him because he didn't stop it.

I am no Bush fan, by ANY MEANS. I dont think he is at all responsible for 9/11...AT ALL!!!! I think he fell short more on Domestic issues, moreso then Foreign issues.

I dont think we know the WHOLE story yet....but we will in years to come. There are just way to many consipracy theories on the web. Some are totally screwy, and some make you go HUMMMMMMMMM! Some theories even claim that it was engineered by rouge CIA agents who uses Bin Laden as their front. Very interesting stuff, but who knows if any of this is true.

What followed from 9/12/01 and on, and how it was handled is another story. I dont feel like I know all the circumstances for the decisions made by this Admin, to say weather the did all the 'right things", but I dont feel that they did based on what we know.

But being the inquiring mind here, I really dont believe I have ALL THE FACTS to even make a call on this.:confused3 I wont be suprised if some day I read a news story and go...OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NOW I understand!

I am so tired of Obama and McCain waisting all of our time with all this hooey. I am more upset at Obama because he said he was new politics and would never stoop that low....guess there is nothing new about him after all.

Funny all the other elections though the years bashed each other but this one feels so different.

He has no choice. McCain is out and out lying. The press is calling him on it - but the electorate doesn't seem to care.

Yes, I agree its getting tiresome.

By the way - I met three Hillary supporters in my dentist's office today - so horrified by a possible Palin presidency - that they are gung ho for Obama. One even had a pin she made herself that said "No Way No How, No McCain."

We chatted about the issues while we were waiting to go into the dreaded "chair."

I dont trust what the press has to say anymore...mostly since they kept saying that Hillary was lying. There is so much between the 2 of them as far as I can see they are both stretching the truth and I am so tired of it. Obama is just as bad as McCain and has since the beginning of this election.

There is no way I will vote for Obama at all. I decided that today. However that does not mean that I will vote McCain either...even though I am leaning his way.

We do still have the debates to help me change that either way. Tell me what made you turn to Obama so much besides Biden who I know you liked....take away McCain and take away Palin...why is it that you are now so for Obama when before you were so not...maybe it will spark me :confused3

nice to see you in here ......miss your articles.......:thumbsup2

I repeat my call for a do-over. Are these two really the best we can get? yuck!

It feels different for me too but I think I know one reason why. I remembered how the OS kept blasting Hillary whenever she said anything that could be construed as negative about Obama. Supposedly she was just being mean and playing dirty politics even though it all looked quite normal to me.

I'm not upset about it or anything now but it still seems odd.

I would like it to be different too but we have what we have. So now what? :confused3 Party or write-in? Write-in would feel good but accomplish nothing so I will stick to the party. That's my thought process for better or worse.

You are in Texas and I am in Maryland. Our states are both solid (red in your case, blue in mine), our votes won't matter anyway so I am currently giving serious consideration to a write in. I was really leaning McCain until the Palin pick, but there is no way I could vote for him now.

I suppose if my state becomes a closer race, my reasoning would be different, but the way things are now, I guess I'm writing in Hillary (or Mickey Mouse-anything's better than Obama and Palin)

Received my first call about the elections yesterday

It was from the Obama campgain. This YOUNG, at least sounded very, very young, girl said "Hi this is (so and so) from the Obama campgain. I am calling to see if we can count on your vote in November?"
I nicely told her "No, I will be supporting John McCain"

I think she was surprised to hear I didn't feel the Obama love as she was silent for a moment or two and then quickly said "oh OK" and hung up!

Months ago I thought about doing a write in (Hillary) but then I keep hearing over and over again how my state is NOT in the bag for either Obama or McCain, so I thought since my state could go to McCain this year I better not throw away my vote.

For all you Hillary supporters who are thinking of voting for McCain, do you think for one minute McCain wouldn't be lying about Hillary if she had been the nominee? You think she wouldn't be part of his smear campaign? McCain would be doing the same thing to Hillary because that is how the Republicans operate and a vote for McCain rewards them for that.

I don't know if you've noticed, but Hillary is not running. We have the choices before us (no matter how awful they are) and we will make the best possible choice out of the crap that we have available.

Yep and Hillary would come swinging back because the Democrats have finally learned you if sit back and take it rather than looking like you took the high road, the American public sees a wuss.

I anticipate you'll see that "come out swinging" this week. :goodvibes

In case you OS don't recall, HS have been warning about the Republican machine since the primaries.

In ant event, don't you guys have your own thread to discuss what a great fighter Obama is?

Change the name of the thread to Hillary Supporters- nothing positive about Obama allowed --

Many of your fellow Hillary supporters have become OS since Hillary stopped running against Obama -- there seems to be no respect at all for them here. Don't you think maybe they get tired of the constant Obama and OS bashing that goes on here? They are now derided as OS as if they were OS from the beginning. Granted I was and so I take my lumps here accordingly, but former HS who did not become OS until after she left the game should be afforded the same respect as those who support McCain or who won't vote rather than vote for Obama.

And you are right about the Hillary campaign - I'm glad they vetted Obama. I think he is a stronger candidate because of that and I'm glad his camp has taken the warning seriously and are fighting back.

You mean like how Hillary the target of Obama's smear campaign during the primaries?

Newsflash: Obama still has not been vetted.

Oh, and I have trouble speaking highly of Obama because, well, I simply can't find much of anything positive to say about him. He's full of lies. Lots of them.

Then why not just try to have some respect for your fellow HS who are now OS and stopped bashing him? Just stick to all the positives you have for your candidate.

Speak for yourself.
Even though I will NO WAY vote for Obama and yep, I think he is sleazy, I know that is MY personal opinion.

If punkin, Planogirl and even Got Disney votes for Obama I respect them for their choice since I believe voting is a PERSONAL choice.
I would never tell them they are making a stupid mistake by voting for Obama, although I do not agree with their decision.
They have reasons for voting for him (pro choice for example) and I have my reasons for NOT voting for him. I agree to disagree. I know some HS don't like McCain, fine...no skin off my back. Just like some know I don't like Obama.
What does it matter to you personally if someone doesn't like Obama?
I just don't get it? Talk about not respecting someone because they don't agree with you.

The thing about THIS thread is we all know how Hillary was treated in the primaries, we know how WE were called racist and not true Democrats because we didn't throw our loving support behind Obama. I think all the regulars on this thread respect each other.
It seems like it is ALWAYS the OS who come on here and try to start things and cause problems :rolleyes1

What don't you guys don't understand? Hillary is NOT running for President anymore, what McCain would or would not do is a MOOT point!
I will never vote for Obama because of reasons I have mention time and time again.....why don't you RESPECT MY opinion???? There is nothing you can say or do at this point that will change my vote. I made it, it's done and over...I will be voting for McCain in November & hope he wins the election :thumbsup2

If YOU don't like what is being said then just don't open this thread. Pretty simple actually :confused3
