UGH! It has not been a great DIS week! I have been trying to keep up with my subscriptions and haven't had time to update or even reply to this report. So sorry!
I did start my report for my Mexico trip over on the discussion board for the Barceló, the resort where we stayed. A lot of the same pictures I have on Facebook. I have also posted a couple of Food Porn chapters so far, too.
Check it out, only if you are interested. No pressure!
No Camera's Were Harmed in the Making of This Vacation
I'll try to get an update about our morning at Magic Kingdom posted soon, but I am still looking for my trip notebook...
Bwahahahahaha!!!!! I just assumed your clothes were wet from putting then on over your wet suit. But thinking back to that moment I do remember thinking, "Hmmmmm. She looks pretty wet!"
Blonde moment!!!!!!! Duh!
That's hysterical! What's even funnier is I spent five minutes searching your pool pics to see if my kids were in there. Then I remembered they came to the pool AFTER me!
Oh how I wish your family would be there when we are this summer. We would constantly laugh! Megan would probably fancy Nate. And Jay and Ben would get along well too, as would our husbands! CA and Hawaii is a MUCH better trip though!
I'm not surprised I looked a bit soggy to you.
I am sorry we will be missing you during your trip, too. I know we could have a great time together!
We are back from Florida.
First, I loved your Mexico picture updates on FB.
I so would have done the same thing with my shirt and shorts...especially at night.
Great pics of SAB, and what awesome pictures of he fireworks from Illuminations.

for an unexpected DIS meet.

(I have that same shirt that she is wearing).
Welcome home. Wishing you a speedy spring and NO MORE SNOW!
Thanks for the nice comments about the Mexico pictures. We had a fantastic trip!
I think nighttime is my favorite time at the pool! I was surprised and pleased the first time I saw the fireworks from there.
Win-Win!

Oh boys and legos! I know we will be there before long. I am VERY organized and OCD so I will also have them organized in bins by colors. I do not think you are crazy. We got Gavin some Mega Blocks for Christmas and he loves them. I guess next is Duplos and then after that we graduate to legos. I still can't believe how pricy those
lego sets are! That is a great way to get them home. I didn't even think about how large some of those boxes are.
That sounds like a great way to get back to the Beach Club. I seriously hate trying to get to and from Downtown Disney! To be honest, I don't even really like Downtown Disney and I don't think we will be going there at all in May.
What a cliffhanger! (glad I didn't have to wait hehe)
oh my goodness, I just laughed out loud. That is too funny. Now I get the refernce to you from Brenda's TR. You just wanted to have a pj pool party!
Stormalong Bay looks so cool at night. I love night time swims at the resorts. Sigh, why have we not stayed at the BC or YC yet?
Illuminations + Stormalong Bay = winning!
I'm sorry your comfy sleep shorts were wet
You know what. Ben still plays with his Megablocks sometimes. He builds things when he is playing with cars or other things.
I found some pictures from one of our Lego Organization Sessions:
If it weren't for the boys (Legos and T-Rex), we would not go to DTD at all. I don't really like to shop and I definitely don't like the buses and I don't like spending time there when we could be at a park!
I know that you will get to the Yacht and Beach Club some day!
Watching the fireworks from Illuminations while floating around in SAB seems like a great idea to me! How very cool! I hope someday I get a chance to try it. And, for the record, I love that you jumped in the pool in your clothes. You go girl!
Well, I didn't mean to jump into the pool with my clothes on! But once I was in it didn't make sense to take them off- they were already as wet as they would get!
SAB is magical at night! And the fireworks just add to that.
I am glad you had a great time in Mexico.
I like your sorting idea for legos. We might have to do that too. Claire is really into them now too. We have many sets made and Some half taken apart and I was trying to figure out how to keep some order to it. I'll have to go buy some bins.
That is too funny about swimming in your clothes. It sounds just like something I would do too.
Now our big Lego challenge is that not only are they the boys' favorite toys, but the cats love them too. The cats are always batting pieces around the house, or carrying them in their mouths, or trying to get them when they go under the couch. They especially love the heads, hats and hair. And ropes. And bushes.
I am usually a lot more "together" than that, so I was surprised that I jumped in the pool fully clothed.
Ok, my mom and I have this weird, unintentional tradition that every summer at the beginning of the season, we end up in a pool with our clothes on. Usually it starts with the two of us sitting side by side at the edge of a pool and just being unable to contain it and jumping in! Are you related to us? Any Acadian blood in you?

Funny story nevertheless, and as you can imagine, I'm not judging because I can relate!

Watching the fireworks from the pool sounds so incredible.
Yay for Dismeets!!
Well, cousin, we certainly could be related. I am French-Canadian on both sides of my family- my dads grandparents came over from Canada, but I'm not sure where.
My Aunt Jeanne has traced our Geneology back quite a ways and a common ancestor in a lot of families in our area is Jean Cote from Quebec (early 1600's)
My husbands family also had a tradition when the three brothers were younger. Their grandparents lived on a pond and the rule was "No Swimming Until Memorial Day"
Well, every year, the boys would push each other into the pond, in their clothes, before they were allowed.
So my husband may be related, too!
