this has certainly been asked a million times...
does the Pop Century resort have high speed internet connections in the guest rooms?

Yes. It costs $9.99 per 24-hour session, and will be added to your room bill. There is no wireless, only a wired connection. However, there should be a cable in the cupboard/drawers/by ironing board/hairdryer. You can even take the cable home with you, but if you do, they will charge you for it :goodvibes

You're welcome. I don't know how frequently he needs to be logged on, but we got away with only paying for half the week, but got to surf every night. The rate is charged per 24-hour period from when you activate it, rather than per day.

So, we would surf late one evening, say 11pm, and then would surf earlier the next night, like 9pm - 10:59pm, so that it would all still come under the 24-hour payment :D Don't know if that's possible for you, but it's worth mentioning just in case it can help you out, because it's not the cheapest thing in the world.

The whole paid for internet scenario at Disney really annoys us.
You'd think they would offer guests free wifi? :surfweb:
That rate is so expensive! Could he not log on, somewhere nearby that had wifi?

when we're at disney, he's usually on for about 8 hours minimum...
in the morning from about 5 am until we leave for the parks...

in the middle of the day (from about 1PM to about 4 PM)
then again in the evening (about 7 to 9 PM)
then again at night (about 11 pm until about 3 am)

so how many is that?
that adds up to about 10 hours.....

and when he's not on the computer, he's still 24/7/365 connected via his cellphone...

he always has his phone and he ALWAYS answers....no matter what he's doing....even at home....use your imagination....he ALWAYS answers....:eek:

:lmao: Okay, so a few hours in the evening will not suffice! haha Oh well! The biggest benefit I'm looking forward to with DVC is the free Internet ;)

You still could, especially if the £:$ rate picks up! lol I'll make my money back in Internet access alone! :rotfl: We are going for 17nights, so that would be $170 saved this holiday straight away! :rotfl:
