High chair at Garden Grill

I’ve booked a dinner ressie at Garden Grill for our arrival night. I really want to sit on the bottom level to have a better view of LWTL, but my 10 month old will be with us so we’ll have to have a high chair. I’ve read conflicting reports on whether high chairs are allowed at the bottom. Has anyone been there recently and noticed high chairs down there?

How big is your party? The last time we had a little in a high chair, we were a group of 8 and were seated on the bottom. They put the high chair in the gap between the two tables that make up the booth. I do know that we couldn't put the high chair in the walkway. I will say, personally I don't think the view of the ride is all that spectacular. You really have to look over the side to see anything because the ride is way below the restuarant, not level with it.

There’s only 3 of us plus the baby.

I have seen smaller groups on the lower level as they do have some smaller booths, but you will likely be upstairs unless they now allow them in the walkway. But like I said before, the view of the ride is definitely not a big reason to eat there.

We were a party of 5 with a high chair and were on the upper level.
ETA: Honestly I think the tables/chairs on the upper level are easier for photos with the characters.

I doubt they would allow it, but, to be honest, the "view" is not worth worrying about it.

Ok, so what did you guys think of the food? I actually like the recent menu changes—the beef seems to be a little bit of an upgrade over what they had before. I’m debating whether to keep this or eat somewhere else in World Showcase.

We ate here on our trip last December and thought the food was very good. Solid comfort food and very cute character interaction. It is about as far from adventurous or terribly exciting as you can get, but we still enjoy it.
