Last year when I flew to Disney from ABE (Allentown PA) to MCO my flight cost in December was $450 for two tickets. I flew Delta. It even went lower after I booked! This year United is $760 and Delta is over $1000! Does anyone have a crystal ball and could they tell me if flights are expected to come down?

I wish I knew! We booked airfare from Boston to MCO in December and paid $168 r/t per person. My daughter and I are going again in October and when I looked for airfare I can find NOTHING under $200. We booked the same flight times and the total is $204... I too would love to know why...

I was sooooo lucky to get the 20/30/40 pin, but it looks like my savings will be lost to airfare.

The airlines are flying less flights so the demand for seats is higher, which is driving up the cost.

When are you going? Doesn't AirTran and Allegiant fly from ABE? Any cheaper from Newark? I had a business trip to ABE a couple of years ago, I flew into Newark and drove, no direct flights from PIT.

AirTran did not publish their flights yet for December. I am really hoping the United flights comes down. They could get me to to MCO at 11:00 am and my departing flight would not leave until 7:00 pm. I like the idea of being able to go to the parks both of those days. AirTran has evening flights from ABE and early afternoon flights from MCO to ABE. I would lose my arriving and departing days to flying. Every day counts in the Kingdom! :)
