My sister is thinking of staying at HIFS. They do not have kids, but they like the idea of a themed suite. Does anyone who as stayed there without kids have any feedback?

The Themed Suites have a separate room for kids (that is what is themed). If they don't have kids, then they'd probably be more interested in the Sweetheart, Cinema , or Residential Suites. These are all described on their website http://www.hifamilysuites.com/suites.html

HIFS is a great place, but if I were traveling without my kids, I would not stay at HIFS! It's very kid-oriented and there are kids everywhere. I never felt too bad if my kids were loud or messy at HIFS because there were always others who were louder or messier.

Have they thought about a condo? Hotelkingdom has good deals on condos that have big tvs, kitchen, washer/dryer, big tub, etc. They might have to get a 2 BR to have all of those ammenities, but it will probably be close in price to HIFS.

A 2 bedroom at cypress pointe maybe? It's a good location and there is lots of info about it on this board.

We just returned, last night and stayed at HIFS - without kids this time. We stayed in a sweetheart suite for a week it was great. Yes, the place has a lot of children but it is not that bad. If they would like to stay here I would just suggest the west track, fewer buildings and if you stay away from the pool side it is rather quiet.

Good luck, just be aware they are going to be remodeling the pool areas starting in Feb or Mar.
