Hidden treasure at Boardwalk

Has anybody else enjoyed the crepes topped with ice cream and whipped cream that can be filled with many delicious things (I prefer chocolate)?These delicacies are topped with powdered sugar and made freshly for you while you wait. These can be found at a kiosk along the water on the Boardwalk. I can't wait until we return to feast on these delectable treats!!

Not only do we love them, but while waiting in line one night, we heard a little boy asking his dad what "crap" on a stick was...

Absolutely, Crepe on a stick is a tradition.
Unfortunately they seem to always run out of the swiss chocolate filling.
I had to substitute with snickers last time... hehe...
oh the pain... LOL!!!
just kidding... it was still good.

never had it with the chocolate on top though.
maybe i had to try that next time.

I love crepes!! Are they at the Boardwalk Bakery or somewhere else!? Since we'll be staying at BWV I'm sure we'll have to get some at least once during our trip!

They are sold out of a kiosk along the Boardwalk. Do try them, you'll be glad you did!

Oh My! Ive never heard of these. Sounds like an extra trip to the BW is in order on our next trip.

they only open at dusk though.
so wait until night time before you head over to the kiosk.
I've tried once in the afternoon and they were not open yet hehe...
Oh and I think they only open until 10 or 11pm.

Yum! The crepes sound delicious! We are staying at the Boardwalk for the first five days of our vacation and we will definitely have to check out the crepes. I'll have to lose weight now because I plan on eating a lot of good food at Disney!

Thanks for the heads up! I'll be looking for these on our next trip. We are crepe crazy in our house. They sound delicious.

be prepared to wait...
crepes take a while to cook & the employees at the kiosk are not exactly efficient...

my suggestion is to sit on the bench,enjoy the view and just take it all in....and in 15-20 minutes your order will be done

I actually had one on our last trip. I was so excited because I hadn't had one in such a long time. It was good, but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. And the girl had such a hard time making them. We waited forever. We used to have a crepe maker at home when I was little and used to make them a lot. These were close, but not as good.

Last trip down it was chilly every evening so DH and I would get hot tea and the kids a hot chocolate at the coffee kiosk. We would sip our hot drinks on a bench overlooking the lake or enjoying the buskers (when they could come out ). All those kiosks are hidden gems!
