Just got home very early this morning, 12:30 AM, and am still exhausted! I just had to brag. DD, 13, found so many hidden Mickey's I was ready to have her write a book. I just ordered one so we can see how many she actually found! It was amazing it seemed like every ride we were on she would find at least 2 or 3 or more! Anyone else have any luck with this, I have only ever found a few.

Did she find the biggest hidden Mickey in WDW? A pool in the AK Kilimanjaro Safari's savannah!

I don't recall if the hippos or crocs are in there, but our tour guide at teh Backstage Safari tour told us it was the biggest hidden Mickey on property.

The Hidden Mickey waterhole on the KS is the Flamingo Pond. It is right after the elephant area. I don't know whether it is the largest Hidden Mickey or not. I always heard that MGM Studios was the largest - the park itself is supposed to be Mickey shaped.

We always find a lot of these on every trip (because we have read where they are and go around intently looking for them). Using the HM website or the book itself, you can make your own lists organized by park, land and then attraction. Placing these on 3 x 5 index cards, they fit perfectly into a fanny pack. Then, when a line forms we look at the card for that attraction so we'll know what to look for when it becomes our turn. This can also be great for keeping kids entertained when you're there during crowded times and lines are long. Our last two trips, the crowds have been so low, we didn't have as much time to look at our cards and then find the HM's. Not that I'm complaining thought!

Hiiden Maikeys are such fun, and Steve's book is such a nelp in finding the tough ones, and even then, some are hard to see. Neat.

Good to know I am not the only obsessed one. I took the HM website, plus Steve's book and a list given to me at town hall to make cards for my next trip.

My family thinks I'm crazed but it's good to know you guys understand:D

I joined DIS and now we are planning a day for Dfiance' and myself to search for all the HMs we can find. He got excited about it after we saw the CB's Christmas Special in MK and the CM asked the audience in that show (all 5 or 6 of us) to find the hidden Mickey, well we searched and searched and he found it. Turns out he was right, it was in the area above center stage formed by the gold molding. We're looking forward to our HM Search in Feb.

After looking at a few maps, I could not tell where the hidden Mickey is in teh shape of MGM. Would that count, if you can't see it in one sight?

I still think the pool at the AK is the biggest...

What is the hidden mickey website? Could someone post the website so I could take a look? My DD would love doing this!
Thanks!

Also, I highly recommend the HM book. It is great because every HM is listed twice. Once it is a little vague as to where it is so you are truly hunting and once there is a tip section, which tells it more specifically (sometimes I still found it to be a real hunt.!)

Enjoy

During construction, yes I can appreciate the hidden Mickey in the aerial view... But at the present I do not believe the park resembles a hidden Mickey at all, that is my point.
