We are thinking of staying at Cypress Point in March. We have stayed there before and really love it. The only drawback is that some in our group like to be at the parks at opening time, an others do not. If we decide to take a cab, how much will that cost? I will save $700.00 by staying offsite, so I think that the cab would be the best way to do it since CP does not have a shuttle. The rest of our group would drive our car and meet up with us later in the morning. Is it a hassle to get a cab? and how much should I expect to pay? And how do I go about it? Can we call ahead and have the cab at the resort at a preset time? Sorry for all the ?'s TIA!!!

I think it would be $15 - $20 from Cypress Pointe to a Disney park. Here's some info about who to call:
Mears Taxicab Dispatcher: 407-699-9999.

I'm pretty sure you could call and arrange for them to pick you up at Cypress Pointe at a specific time ahead of time. Hopefully someone else here will have more experience with doing this.
