I need others to join me. They say the first thing to recovery, is admitting you have a problem and I do. I think about going to Disney all the time, When I order food at a restuarant ,I think is this a TS or CS. This weekend I was in line to buy movie tickets and I started looking for the fast pass machine. I need help, I need help from other Disneyholics. So please join me in my recovery. If you do not have a problem then lend me your support. Also,Please remember " Fish are friends not food"

From one Tennesseean to another I am right there with ya buddy!!! I LOVE anything Disney and think about going all the time. I sit and try to think up good reasons to tell DH as to why we NEED to go back to WDW!!! Everytime I eat asteak I look at DH and tell him it is not as good as the ones at KONA therefore we need to go back soon.. :rotfl2: I am obsessed and it is a major addiction...But hey at least I can function normally and I don't need drugs for it!!!

The only cure for my addiction is MICKEY MOUSE!!!!!

Hi, my name is Trena. I've been a WDW junkie for about 5 years now. My additciton is so bad, that my husband's boss gives him 4 FL RES APs (we are a family of 4) for his bonus, so that I can get my fix.

Yes, admitting it is the first step...but I don't want to be cured of my Disney addiction.

I want a boss like that. Where do I apply. Wait,, I forgot I'm self employed.

Sorry Kenny, I can't help you, I am what is known as an "enabler" !! :mickeyjum :donald: :goofy:

LOL! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
My friend suggested that I start a group like this after I told her we wanted to back to Disney before the holidays -- we just got back Saturday! I moped around the house all day Sunday while unpacking. My DH fianlly caved and at dinner daid "OK, book it!" Gottcha! :thumbsup2
Hi, my name is Lisa and I too am a Disneyholic!

Hi Kenny! I too am a Disneyholic! Would it offend the other "holics" if I got a tee shirt that proclaimed my Dis-status?

Is this to warn people to stay away or to proclaim your status. Post a picture when you get it. I may need one.

I'm with you on this. My husband even told me I have a problem :guilty: Well, I do, I constantly think about Disney. I was just there in June but want to go back soooo bad now! I was doing ok until this YOAMD stuff :wizard: Those commercials are my fix  I am trying my darnedest to talk the hubby into going again- it would be easier if I could figure out how to pay for it though :rolleyes1 My daughter is working on him-wish me luck :thumbsup2

Oh, I would wear a Disneyaholic shirt in a heartbeat. :wave2:

Hi my name is Michelle. Good to meet you. :teeth: It must be something about TN is all I can say. I was born and raised there. And I'm going back to Gatlinburg tomorrow actually (what's the weather supposed to be like this weekend anyway :rotfl: ). I have been addicted since birth and it's my parents fault. No seriously it is. We went twice a year EVERY year growing up. It helped that my grandparents lived in FL though.

I'am with you too :grouphug: .... I'm a fairly new "holic" though. But I can't seem to get enough Disney information....I'm begining to annoy people... I have to stop myself from talking about it...yes, I have a problem  .....BUT IT"S FUN! :thumbsup2

Well, I can't help cuz I see nothing wrong with your behavior. I'm also like you, but I'm in the early stages of my obsession as I am still trying to remember all the acronyms... Thanks goes to the Dis for feeding my habit!

You are not alone, but my professional opinion is you need to go back there on your next vacation. You don't need help to stop thinking about it, you need help in planning your next trip and saving up for it!

Yay!

I gotta add one thing: I've never quite seen it in this light, but with my husband being deployed, I get to go more. You see, he's in the business of making me happy while he's gone (God bless his soul!) and he isn't too quick to tell me I can't go. He just emphasizes that we should make sure we can afford it. With his extra pay he gets while he's there, sure we can afford it! I know we should save (and we will, some), but this is about making me happy :woohoo: , and our daughters, too, of course, can't forget them. LOL. So for this year that he's gone, I'd like to go 3 times. Call me crazy... all I know is this rocks. I'm going this November and plan on going for Spring Break. I'm still wondering if I should and could go in the summer before he gets home. I bet I could in August cuz that's my daughter's birthday.

To sum it up, if it weren't for his deployment, I doubt we'd go this much! I wish he were home, but I definitely see a silver lining to the deployment cloud!!

Count me in....My name is Sharlon and I'm an addict. 36+ trips and I still want to go back tomorrow. That first glimpse of the castle gets me everytime. I am already trying to convince DH that retiring to Orlando would be great and he could work at the WDW golf courses (did I mention our youngest child is 1 so we have a way to go).

It must be that Appalachian air that does it. Michelle, I'm in Western NC too, although no ties to TN.

See you all at the next "meeting". :rotfl:

You can't be far from me then. I'm just at the foot of these beautiful mountains. Maybe we should fuel our addictions together. :rotfl:

It is supposed to rain tonight and get very chilly....So in Gatlinburg I would bring at the very least a big fleece pullover...or you are gonna freeze your BUNS off!! Have fun there and stop in Calhoun's and have a bite for me!! YUMMY!!!!

Thank you for the update. We were pretty sure it would be colder there than it is here but it looks like it might be WARMER. Calhoun's works for me but it's DH's birthday so I guess I should let him decide.
