Ok, so I expect to see this thread after my evening -- ds10 is having a sleepover, so it will be total chaos for us.

I remember taking ds to see Barney and Scooby Doo live. No breaks on the souvies or snacks, either. It's a major investment for a preschooler!

You caught me! That's why I kill threads, everyone can't get away from me quick enough!

My cat's nickname is Worfiedoodles. His name is Worf, but he was a tiny fireball of black fur when we got him, so he became Worfie, then Worfiedoodles if we really wanted him to come...he's like a dog, he does come when we call him.

Please don't snack on him -- he is nearly fat free, he only weighs about 8 lbs, and he's all skin, bones and a ton of long-haired fur.

Ok, gotta run. DH is starting to doubt my "computer emergency", and has come to look at me as I type...

I'm planning a trip for Mar/April so I'm kind of floating, mostly lurking for tips and making reservations.

Budget related: I saved $28 on upcoming flight, by cancelling and rebooking the same reservation, still gotta love Southwest, even without their Dings.

Yes, we had a lovebird til 3 weeks ago. Tweaky died in her beloved nesting box. She really liked my DH more and bit me but I enjoyed having her around. We're going to get another bird but I'm planning for after we return from our vacation.

I'm so sorry . We almost lost Tico around Christmas as she started to chew at her tummy (feather growing in the wrong way). I was a mess. You sure can fall in love with fids (featherd kids).
