Mattel Pocahontas Color Splash Doll Series

I read about a set of Mattel Pocahontas dolls called Color Splash and I would like to know more about this doll series. The reason why these Pocahontas dolls were known as Color Splash was because when you played with them in water either while taking a bath or swimming the dolls hair would change colors but returned to normal once the dolls were out of the water. The Pocahontas and Nakoma dolls in this set had color change hair while the John Smith doll has a painted eagle on his chest that changed color too. Originally this series was meant to have four dolls with Kocoum as the fourth doll but Kocoum's doll was never released and only the three dolls were released. Was this series one of the popular Pocahontas doll series of the Mattel Pocahontas doll line?
