I'm so sorry . We almost lost Tico around Christmas as she started to chew at her tummy (feather growing in the wrong way). I was a mess. You sure can fall in love with fids (featherd kids).

Aw, thanks, they're like little kids. I know they're not for everyone but we don't have any kids and they become part of the family.

You caught me! That's why I kill threads, everyone can't get away from me quick enough!

My cat's nickname is Worfiedoodles. His name is Worf, but he was a tiny fireball of black fur when we got him, so he became Worfie, then Worfiedoodles if we really wanted him to come...he's like a dog, he does come when we call him.

Please don't snack on him -- he is nearly fat free, he only weighs about 8 lbs, and he's all skin, bones and a ton of long-haired fur.

Ok, gotta run. DH is starting to doubt my "computer emergency", and has come to look at me as I type...

WOW! I have my own Stalker! This thread is REALLY boosting my ego! Oh, and don't worry--I won't eat Worfiedoodles! I thought maybe it was a snack, but if he is a PET, well, that's a different story! I love kitties except for the hairballs! (As pets, once again, not as snacks!)

Playhouse Disney LIVE on stage was fun. The human characters (Little Einstens, Darby, etc.) were face characters vs. the costumes you would see at WDW, so that was different. DD3 really enjoyed it, so it was worth it!

Just a quick check-in to make sure that the thread hasn't died without me. I want to be there until the end, you know!

I'm stuck. I'll have to get DH to help me. Some of these clues are pretty tricky. You have to figure things out backwards. Here's the link in case anyone's interested. I'm warning you, it's a time sucker.....but you don't have to spend money while you're at it..

of course you can just pull up a chair, & join in whenever you want (just try to think of a budget related question or suggestion every so often so we don't get booted off this forum ).
btw, try not to take those "attacks" personally ~ i've noticed that there's been a lot of picking on the "new kids" lately (i think there was a full moon the other night ).

Thanks, I appreciate the kind words, and while I have your ear....my DH just booked for the Wilderness Lodge with dining & park tickets for Dec 6 -13 of this year and the lady on the phone said that he could not get a AAA discount becuase he was getting the Disney promotion. Does that sound right? Should we have booked just the room and dining to get the AAA disc? If anyone can shed some light on the "right" way to get the AAA discount I would appreciate it!

That's what I was told for our trip last year (nearly the same dates: Dec. 2-8). I went ahead and booked through Disney. However, my AAA agent then told me that I could then re-book through them and get the discount and the same 'everything.' We didn't do it--we had booked the Contemporary and AAA didn't have any rooms available there. They could, however, get us a room at GF for CHEAPER than what we paid for the Contemporary! Still didn't do it--I had my heart set on CR!

I guess I would recommend that you contact your agent and see what she/he can do for you and make your choices from there.

Next year dh and I are planning to take the Magic Express, and get a grocery delivery from one of the local places. Anybody have any experiences to share? This seems much more economical than buying stuff in the gift shop...

Glad you like it! I didn't know the CB had a Games sub-board. This game was initially on the CB board when I started. They keep on posting links to other games.... They keep on moving the smilies..by now, you know I smilies.

I really got stuck at one point (the picture) and I printed the clue on the marble that helped me get out of that one. I'll be back from time to time, you know where I'm at ...

Dare I go out and face the world, without spending a dime? Yes!
