Ugh...YES, it is April tomorrow! I remember the year my Grade 8 class went on our Quebec trip (1995), we were caught in a wild snowstorm on the way home. Now, this might not seem all that strange, but it was the end of the first week of MAY!!! It was so bad that transport trucks were pulled over at the rest stop.

Hello, Everyone.........from sunny Florida....just couldn't resist...

Here we are having a grand ole time by the pool. The weather is great here,,,80's during the day 60's at night. It rained yesterday when we were at the Poly for an early dinner...so it didn't really affect us. It cooled down after that...people were wearing light jackets in the park.

Just like any trip there's good and bad but not awful.

Tonite we're going to the P&P Party. We'll see how that goes. Crowds are moderate. (Well, we've only gone to MK, and MK EMH, ,.) It was great! Love the parade and fireworks. We're also going to La Nouba, we got the tickets the night we arrived.

We went to Orlando Premium Outlets and found a few things...Hey, I'm not going to the store and not buying anything. My resolve is broken......So much for budgeting, but we got a few good buys.

I asked a CM how they felt the crowds were and she said...it was slow...so I guess she knows better than I do.

I'm signing off and hope everyone a good week, I'll try to make mine good too.

Budget tip for the day.. Being sick is not budget friendly for me... Was very under the weather and now have bills coming from immediate care, the ER, my reg. Doc, the Specialist, and the surgery center... I think I would have rather spent it shopping. Hope everyone is having a great day. Diane

Feeling a little better now, at least not in the hospital. I had a hematuria (google it as it might be a little graphic) and it continued for over 7 hours straight. Needless to say I was very anemic afterwards and my white blood counts were at the level of someone with Leukemia... So after a Cat Scan, Cystoscopy, and way too many bruises from blood work, I am home and on the couch. I have to take mega doses of antibiotics but the Dr's feel this will take care of the problem. The good news is no tumors or growths in my bladder or kidneys... All this 2 weeks before Disney trip. I hope that I have my strength back... Sorry if I sound whiney, cause I am! Thanks for asking how I was.... I know too much info, sorry!

I am also too scared to google. I feel quite sure that when I read it, I will realize that I have the same symptoms and will then put me in a panic. I am just better off not knowing...about a lot of things!

Feel better and get some rest! If you have to take it easy on the Disney trip, then take it easy. It's a bummer, I know, but Disney will always be there. Your health is more important. (Oh, and go ahead and be whiney. You have the right to be whiney!)

and that's a really good thing.

Yesterday, we saw La Nouba. It was fantastic. Especially the ending. We took a walk through Downtown Disney it was crowded. Actually, I think more crowded than in the park. Or it was just my perception.

We're leaving on Sat. all good things must come to an end. This time of year always has great weather. If you work around Spring break and Easter, you can't go wrong.

Tinker'N'Fun, I hope you get well enough to thoroughly enjoy your trip. Lots of good thoughts for you....

Today is laundry day and also volunteered to watch a friend's DD2 while she went on an job interview. My DD is an only child (and shall remain so), so it is very interesting to see the dynamic change around here.

Laundry tip? Did you know that if you use dryer sheets, you should wash your lint screen every couple of months? A film builds up on it that prevents the air from passing through properly and can cause a fire.

Oh, and I am beginning to wash DD's warm weather jammies and clothes. It is so fun to open the bucket and see what I got on clearance. It's just like Christmas!

Thank you all for the well wishes... All the test results came back to a very bad infection... I am on an antibiotic but I have no energy and feel like crud... The clothes are at least in a pile on the floor near the luggage, and the emergency kit items are by me on the couch. I bought a new case for this year.. I know big spender . The Dr's think I should feel better by the time we leave so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I am going to go clean my dryer vent today cause sick or not, no one else in my house claims to know how to use the washer and dryer (DH43, DD15, and DS12) yep one is claiming ignorance, one is goofy-brained, and the other is too cool to do that type of work... I wonder what would happen if I went on strike this week...!

Can you imagine the boards would light up! Did you all see that family at WDW last week that wore the same clothes every day and they say that no one had any luggage or first aid with them .... Those poor kids, their parents don't know how to take care of them ! Disclaimer the above paragraph is fictional, please do not take it seriously... Unless I am not feeling better by Tuesday then it may be a fact!

I am so glad that your vacation is going so well, and you sound very relaxed. Glad that La Nouba was a hit. Don't forget to give us a report when you get back. The weather looked iffy for a few days and I thought I might get in trouble for being the weather person who didn't get it right... (Oh yeah I forgot that is the only job that requires only speculation and you never get in trouble for being wrong - no offense to the meterologist in Dis world)

Have a very safe trip back and I look forward to hearing from you...

Okay so I am still feeling cruddy but decided to start doing stuff, I feel like crud if I am on the couch or doing stuff, just get tired... So I packed all the clothes that were ready.. Just worried I will forget stuff since not everything was ready to be packed. I want to keep it to 3 suitcases and 3 carry-ons...

I always overpack, but would rather over pack than be over-budget (he he now its budget board related). Going shopping to pick up the last minute stuff... Wish me luck!
