Kids were off school today. DH flew into Philly from MN & is stuck there, they cancelled all the flights to ABE tonight. He's getting a rental to drive home, he works in Philly so the drive is no big deal - but his car is at ABE! He can go get it tomorrow. Ugh! I worked a few hours & there were still crazies out doing their holiday shopping today!

Actually, we didn't get too wet! The rain gear was pretty good. You really had to be careful walking in those boots! The lady infront of me almost tripped into the water!

Don't you just love this stupid weather??? NO!!! Hey....watch who you call crazy!!! I was out Saturday, ended up with a migraine. So......now I must go back out today!!! And it's now snowing!!! I don't do well driving in snow! I'll probably get another migraine from it! Hopefully, it'll stop in a little while. Ah.....fun days!

I'm with you on the Dole Whips--good, but not something I'd go out of my way for. I love that you're in short sleeves in the picture while I'm sitting here shivering

I worked 10 hours today in retail - UGH! It wasn't really all that bad, and there weren't as many people out shopping as earlier in the week, but I'm sure the weather had a lot to do with that! Now I'm glad to be home, we're all in jammies & the boys are picking out which cookies to put under the tree for santa. My older one doesn't believe anymore but he hasn't ruined it for the younger one yet. They are wound up, I'm hoping they fall asleep soon so I can finish wrapping & get their things under the tree. If not I might fall asleep before they do!

Welcome bzzelady! My brother was born in Danville (almost 50 years ago!) and my entire family is from the central PA Schuykill/Northumberland County area. I grew up in the Lehigh Valley but we used to go up there every weekend when I was little. We're headed up tomorrow for our family Christmas gathering!

Yes we do...but not as much as when we were first married and my husband worked seasonally on the fair maintenance crew! This year, we only went on Sunday afternoon and I think we were only there for a couple of hours.

We actually live over in Riverside near the airport (just across the bridge from Danville).

Something new I tried - a hummus & broccoli slaw sandwich at Columbia Harbor House. I LOVE their Anchors Aweigh tuna sandwich but wanted to try something different. I liked the new sandwich but it was very wet & messy...I'll stick to the tuna sandwich next time!
