I like the Anchors Aweigh at Columbia Harbor House too. I also found the hummus sandwich to be too wet and messy.

Here's one of my favorite things at Christmas in Disney....you have to have seen it to understand how incredible & awesome it is. They play holiday songs, and the lights & fountains move to the beat of the music. Hearing Wizards in Winter by Trans Siberian Orchestra (Carol of the Bells) & seeing the lights & fountains pounding to the beat really moved me. Cindy & I stood for over an hour just watching this one night! We wondered why the park seemed so empty, it was after Illuminations but we had no idea how long we had been standing there - it was 11:30pm!! I have about a 10 second clip of video on this but not sure how to download it onto here....anyone know?

Hello Chicklets, I hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! I was looking at all of the pictures of everyones latest adventure to the world and boy, I can't wait to get down there. We are planning on the last weekend of Feb into March. I already purchased tickets for La Nouba. Yeah!!! I really need a vacation. I had to laugh my DH's Annual pass runs out on 3/1 so I asked him if we should just use the tickets that will be coming with the package that Disney is offering or renew his Annual pass. He looked at me and said aren't we going to go again this year? I just had to laugh.
I wanted to thank everyone for praying for my mom, she is doing much better and came home to my Dsis's house on Sunday. If I told you half of the stuff that has been going on you all would think I was lying. We had a scare with mom on Christmas day and my 2 sister's and I spent the night in Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest E.R. this was not before spending Christmas eve there with Dh who had, oh yes another catheterization. John is fine but holy dooley will it never end. (thank goodness my Dsis lives down that way it saves me a ton of driving) I really need a vacation...lol.

So what is everone doing for New years? I think we are just going out to eat. Nothing fancy. I hope everyone has a happy and healthy New year with many blessings!!!!!!

Linda, I heard Hollywood made you an offer are you going to accept? That is one of my favorite attractions and shows.

Oh my, Terri, it sure sounds like you had your hands full over the Christmas holiday. Thankfully your Mom & DH are feeling better. I hope you're doing ok with all the ups & downs!

New Year's Eve for us will be going out to dinner & coming home! Exciting, right??? I've never been a New Year's person. Maybe we'll splurge for a movie!!

Oh yes......Hollywood did call & I'm taking all offers into serious consideration! You gotta laugh!!!

Thank you everyone for your offers...if someone else told me this story I would be somewhat doubtful all of this could be happening to one family in a months time. You just have to laugh because it is so bizarre.

I was looking around for somewhere for my family to eat on New years, anyone have any ideas where we might be able to get in at this late time?
It doesn't have to be fancy but a step up from an applebees type place if possible. I tried the Hanoverville inn but no room at the inn. Lol pun intended. We like steak and seafood and are not opposed to a bar and grill type place. Thank you again, Terri

Copperhead Grille on Airport Road had a New Years Eve menu in the newspaper the other day. Don't know if they have anything available yet, but the food is good there.

I believe they sell some types of the Miss Vicky's chips at Weis Markets in Emmaus (a straight shot down Cedar Crest-about 10 min).

I've never seen those chips other than at CHH - Jessamy they have them at WEIS?!?!? OMG they are soooo good!

Disneyholic - there's a Copperhead Grill on Airport Rd? We have a Cooperhead Grill less than 5 min. from us on 378. Wonder if it's the same owner?

5 friends & I ate at a new place on Main St in Historic Bethlehem tonight called Thai Thai. VERY good Thai food & reasonable prices (entrees were $12.99-$18.99). Slow service but they just opened 2 weeks ago & it was busy.

Have any of you ever ate at Pistachio's off of Cedar Crest? We ate there on Dec. 26th after visiting my mom in the hospital. The food was decent and thank goodness we were pretty well through our meals because we had a problem with my 4 year old nephews meal. We had ordered him spaghetti and meatballs, no marinara. Luke is picky and did not like the way the meatballs tasted so he put them on my DH plate. John went to break one open and there was no word of a lie, a rubber band encrusted in the middle of the meatball. John lifted the meatball up by the rubber band and called the waitress over. She apologized and walked over to the owner who just kind of blew it off. The man never even came over to the table to apologize or even say that he was going to pull all the meatballs off of the menu for the night. He did however take the 6.00 kids meal off of the bill. Needless to say we were all pretty lost our appetites and will not be going back there to eat. Just a heads up to all you Lehigh Valley people. Terri
