Hi i'm from P.A.!!!!

The house is very different without her, and the other dogs seem unusually quiet.

Thank you all for your kind support, I really appreciate it. You all are the best. Terri

Terri... we share your sorrow... :grouphug:

Terri, sorry to hear about Banditt.:grouphug:

Dismeet 12/6 @ 8:30pm Epcot (Japan) :woohoo: Can't wait!!! Only a few days away!!:cool1:

Terri sorry to hear about your Banditt. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to such a loving pet and friend. Take care.

Got back today from nice weather in WDW. Sunday, though, for a period of time while we were in Hollywood studios we had 60 mph winds (tornado like winds) and torrrential rain. We were in Toy Story ride (awesome by the way) and came out and it was pouring - we ran for cover and the one restaurant near there. things slowed down a little and then we met up with the rest of our gang and headed back to Epcot for CLP. The rain had stopped and it only started to rain again near the end, but it wasn't as hard. We ate at Japan (there were 8 of us) Bill was $660. Ouch, :headache: but it was good and a great experience. Also this trip I had Tonga toast at Kona Cafe, if you never had this, gotta try it. It is wonderful. FW cabins are neat and great place to stay when you have a bigger group. We got some groceries and ate two of our breakfasts there and saved some money. Had a good visit with son. Osborne lights are fantastic. All of you going soon, have a fantastic time, I know you will. :santa: :santa: :santa:

Deb, didn't expect to hear from you tonight!!! So....I was right about the Tonga Toast!:rolleyes1 Happy to hear you had a great time, but can't wait until I hear everything about it! See you Thursday for the Craft Show trip!

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Disneyholic sorry to hear about your 2 cats, the whole house changes when they are gone. I hope you have lots of luck and fun with your new additions. Did you pick names? How about Pip and Pop. lol
I hope everyone has a great trip down to see the mouse. I wish I could go with you all. Have a drink for me.

Now I need a favor again, you all are not going to believe this but my mom is very sick again. My Dsis had to take her to Lehigh valley Muhlenberg on Sunday night. Mom has to be operated on tomorrow. (Wed). Mom has to have a surgery on her intestines and have some removed because of an abscess, she also has some sort of blockage in the tube going to her bladder. If this is all it was she would be okay but she has such bad lungs that it complicates the situation so much more. Sooooo once again I am asking for your thoughts and prayers. This has been such a crazy year for us as a family, we do however have a light at the end of the tunnel as my middle dsis (the one from down Allentown way)is pregnant, so we need my mom here with us.
Thank you in advance I will update everyone as soon as we know. Terri

Oh Terri, of course you and your family have our thoughts & prayers. It has certainly been a terrible year for you. God bless!

Oh Terri!! I'm thinking of you, hang in there.

Did anyone else see that Jamie posted "See you all Friday night" a few posts up?? Aren't we meeting SATURDAY?!?!?! Does anyone have her cell? I do not. Uh oh....well heads up if anyone is in Epcot Friday night, wander by the Japan arch around 8:30! I might actually be there, if I am I will check for her. Or maybe I've got it wrong thinking it's Saturday. I can't believe at this time tomorrow I'll be landing in FL! I haven't heard from Fern either about breakfast at Boardwak Bakery on Friday....I will try to be there to see if she remembers!

Anyone else heading down tomorrow? Weather looks SPECTACULAR....70's during the day, 50's at night & no rain (hahaha we all know that it will rain at some point in FL!)

Terri, keeping your mom and family in my prayers. I pray for healing and peace in your life. Keep the faith and never underestimate the power of prayer. Take care.

Terri, I'm so sorry to hear about Banditt, and then your mom on top of that. I'll be sending prayers your mom's way for a smooth recovery, and to your family to have strength during this difficult time. I hope everything gets better soon and 2009 is a better year for you all.

Tara-and everyone else going to WDW soon, have a fantastic trip! I hope you have warm sunny weather and low crowds :) . Can someone please eat a chocolate croissant in France for me?

Hello everyone, I wanted to give everyone an update on our Banditt. Banditt had been holding her own until last weekend when she took a turn and I was at a loss as what else to do for her. She did not seem to be in any pain of distress so we kept trying. This Friday she started to not be able to keep water down. She had a good night on Friday and I slept down stairs with her. On Saturday the situation got worse and she could not keep anything down and all she wanted was do drink because she was so thirsty. John and I then made the heartbreaking decision to give her peace. Our hearts are very heavy as we loved her and she was such a great part of our lives, she had been with us over 16 years so we were very lucky. The house is very different without her, and the other dogs seem unusually quiet.
As I think I mentioned before Banditt is the seventh dog of my original eight. I only have her almost 16 year old daughter Azul left of those eight. We also have Boo who has been with us for 2 years. I have been lucky in that all my dogs have lived to ripe old ages, so I guess I am spoiled. I would have given anything to have kept each and every one of them a few more years with me, Each one has been a huge loss to me.

Thank you all for your kind support, I really appreciate it. You all are the best. Terri

So sorry. We have lost two black labs.

Oh that's a definite!

I heard they changed the School Bread in Norway, so now I'll have to find another sweet treat - looks like I found a great suggestion! France - here I come!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to give you a quick update on my Mom. Well she pulled through the operation which was no small feat. She came out of the operation on a ventilator and they were not optomistic that she would come off it right away. My mom has severe lung disease so this was the most concerning thing of the whole operation. Guess what she proved them all wrong and thy removed the vetilator on thursday at 11:00 am. They have had to give her a mask to wear for a short time but I'm sure she will not have that long. I think once all the sedation meds wear off she will be back to just her 24 hour nose oxygen. So far so good and we are now past the 24 hour operation mark so hopefully she will not have any complications. Thank you everyone!!!!! :thumbsup2 Terri

I ran into Tara and her friend at MVMCP last night. Just after the parade, we were walking towards BTMRR, and I heard someone yell "Jamie, Jamie...JAMSTEW!" If she hadn't used my screen name, I probably would never have turned around :lmao: The party wasn't terribly crowded, according to redbudlover, but it was the biggest crowd I've been in in a long time. I think the largest crowds were confined to Main Street, though--the rides were all walk-on. The parade and fireworks were worth the price of the ticket (at least to do it once). We didn't get to see the main show since it was standing room by the time we got there, and we knew we wouldn't be around for the last one. Because of skipping that, we got to see the parade twice, though :goodvibes

We also met donald is #1, who does the ROFR list on the DVC forum, in line at rope drop yesterday morning and again after we got off Soarin', so we had breakfast together. There was another DISer at rope drop, but I didn't see her again. She had a really big LGMH, which was probably the only reason I spotted her.

After packing for cold weather, it has turned wonderfully warm (daytime anyway) except for Tuesday night, which was miserable. I lost my Columbia headband at some point, but fortunately I haven't needed it since.

We slept in this morning, and redbudlover has gone for a massage. I'm just chilling in the room for now. Our room at BC is almost at the corner of the building where you walk across the bridge to Epcot, and you can see Illuminations from our patio. It's very quiet on this side of the building, which is awesome.

Heading to the DVC mixer in a little bit, then Le Cellier & CP later.

Timmy, I hope you're feeling better. I've been having stomach problems since last night, but it's a little better today. BTMRR made me nauseous for the first time in my life last night, but I think it's more that I've been eating a lot more and richer food than I would at home, plus a cocktail here and there, which I haven't done in a few years either. I may or not be able to handle any rides :sad2:

Mousekeeping is here now, so I need to get out of the room (and I haven't proofed this so pardon any mistakes).
