Ants yes I work on Saturdays - 5/10 from 4-9:30 and 5/17 from 9-6. Ugh.

3 more days til WDW!! There is actually a pretty large DIS Meet on the 6th that I am going to in Epcot. Lots of solo DIS-ers next week too, we're all going to keep an eye out for each other which is nice. One of them has actually talked me into meeting up to ride EE which I swore I'd never do. Is it really that bad? I HATE heights, drops & spins, but do like fast thrill rides like Dinosaur & Test Track. Will I survive??

I have no Philly connections other than DH went to college in Doylestown, and he used to work on City Line Ave, now in Newtown Square. Does that count for anything? I've been to CHOP, the airport & Manyunk (sp)....does that count? Just trying to fit in LOL...

Tara!!! Awesome!!! that there is a meet going on!! It is one of the best add ons for a WDW trip... EE ?? Hmmmm I did it one time... I guess I am not a fan of roller coaster goping backwards.. LOL dont like not knowing which way I am going.... but TOT on the other hand... my record was hmmm sorry I know it sounds bad... but it was slow... and the it was a walk through... and they did not let me get off anymore after the 5th ride I rode it 11 times straight

Ok time to go work.. lunch is in the back.. check... id.. check.. cash for vending machine check...LOL

I am working tomorrow night, then off this weekend (my 1 weekend off a month), so we are heading to HersheyPark-
It had better be nice this weekend Please let it be nice on Saturday....

Hey Chicklets, I'm back!!! I hate coming back...where did all the nice weather go? We just got back around 2pm. We left yesterday (Dsis, and 2 Dnephews) and drove for about 12 hours and then stopped overnight in Virginia (about 50 miles before Richmond). We drove the rest of the way today. There is a lot of constuction in the D.C. area on 495. Other than that the drive was really nice.

I loved meeting everyone at our Dis meet. It was really great. I can't wait till the next one. More info on the trip tomorrow.

Ants, The meet was awesome. I really was glad I got to hang out with everyone. Everyone was really great. I was looking at the pictures DH took and we are a good looking group. I have to see if he can help me get them on tonight. I'm not that good with that type of stuff.
Ants, I will tell my Dh you said Hi. He is such a good sport about everything. He also got a kick out of meeting you all. He commented later how nice you all were.

The crowds thinned out this week at the parks, thank goodness. Last week was horrible and I witnessed some really bad behavior last thursday night in the Magic kingdom during the Wishes show. I am always wondering how people can treat other people with such a lack of common courtesy, at what point do people decide that there agenda supercedes anyone elses. I actually saw physical violence in a crowd making its way over to Tomorrow land. My whole family and several other people saw a man elbow a women half his size as she was trying to make a path for her husband to push her wheelchaired daughter through a crowd. The lady was very pleasent saying excuse me and explaining they were just trying to get through. This man almost knocked the lady down and we all began screaming at him. I have to say the crowd in the MK was the worst I have ever seen and was not handled well by MK management. There were not enough cm's available to direct anyone and it was just wall to wall people. At that point we tried to turn around to leave but it was impossible. So we kinda just got to the side and stood still until it was all over and we could get outta there.
I also want to know when it became permissible to step over a stroller with a child sitting in it? I had to stop serveral people from doing this, and at that point we got my nephew out of the stroller and carried him. He actually thanked me because he was getting scared. We watched the fire works at that point but holy cripes how crazy was all that. The best part was we didn't even care if we saw them, we just wanted to get up to the back to get on some rides. That just is not the way a little boy should be when watching wishes!! to think that people out there are so rude that they would almost knock somoeone over just because they might lose some partial vision of Wishes that poor little girl in the wheelchair holy crap I hope nothing happened to her.

MK's CM's should have done alot more!

My DH and I will be off to Yankee Stadium for our first Yankees game of the season! He's a REAL fan!! We go to about 6 games during the season. Hopefully there's the playoffs too!

You must go on EE!!! I am not a real rollercoaster fan, but that thing is awesome!!! You do know it goes backwards, right? How cool.....the big DISmeet & all those solo DISers too!! I'm excited for you!!

Love the Dismeet picture. It is great. It is nice to put a face with the dis names. Tara go on EE, DH doesn't like roller coasters and I got him on it. I don't he was breathing much on it, but anyway. I don't like going backwards but it wasn't bad. I hate the ones that take you backwards the whole way and this is nothing like that. Go for it. Hope you have a good Dis Meet too. I'll have to see if any one will be going to Disney when I go, Nov. 26-12/2. It would be great to meet up with some of you. Have a great weekend.

Hello all!

I have to admit I have only been a lurker here, only posted once back in October, but have been waiting for minechuchie to get back. I am originally from 'Chendo'. I saw a previous post of hers saying that she knew the Vascavages. Well they are friends and neighbors of my brother's mother-in-law so I thought I'd ask my brother if she knew anyone named Terri that lived in that neighborhood. Well before I got a chance to ask he mentioned that "Albert's daughter Terri goes to Disney a lot, she just rented a place down there from a guy from Frackville". So I knew it was you, chuchie! Your dad and my dad were good friends! My brother is Bobby from the 500 club. What a small world! Hoping we can meet sometime when I come up to visit him, or maybe at Disney???

Also, I'm from Blue Bell which isn't that terribly far from Neshaminy/Oxford Valley (we lived in Bensalem for 7 years) so I'd be up for a meet there. Have any of you been to Cheeseburger in Paradise? We've been there to get together with friends we met on a Disney Cruise and it's a fun place. Just a thought!
