Lucky you, getting to go to "the world" again!!! I will have to take a ride up to your store one of these days, didn't realize you were only 45 min. from Philly. Too bad I didn't get to meet up with you when you were down here.
Both kids went to Baldi, I live down the street from Comly Elementary off Byberry Rd. (the brown stucco houses if you know the area). I am a NE alum, too, so it was cool to have one of my kids go there. I graduated in '69 - yikes I feel old just saying that!! 
It is so beautiful and the weather is great. I am thinking about going in Sept, but worry about the heat (you couldn't take it and you haven't reached "hot flash" stage yet!!!). We always used to go the end of Aug. when the kids were small and we didn't want them to miss school (not that they were missing all that much in Philly public schools..............lol) but if we go that time now, we will be spending most of the day at the pool.

You graduated in '86 - ouch, my DD was BORN in '86 and my DS in '84 and I didn't have him until I was 32 (feel better now)

My DD works at Oxford Valley Mall if you get up that way much? Both of my kids worked at pretty much every store at Neshaminy Mall at one time or another.

I know Timmy. I've been having the same problem since I got back. It's like I'm a day behind! Not complaining though! I'll take this inconvenience for a Disney trip anytime!

I had a dr's apt today. Still no weight gain And I got to set up my 20wk ultrasound. 3 wks til we find out if the kids are right. They are all guessing girl (so am I). Now they are trying to convince me go to get another fetal echo because of DD#1 I really dont wanna go!! I have to go all the way past hershey. 
The regular ultrasound tech could have found her defect, hell I could have found it! So I said lets do the 20wk first and see if they see anything abnormal. For now that has appeased the dr's wishes.

I went to NE, too, although I am probably older than you. My DS also graduated from NEHS, but DD from GW. I grew up in the Oxford Circle and live in Somerton now. How 'bout you?
And I live about 10 minutes from Oxford Circle. Been here since 75.

I am taking a quick break from packing. Doing a load of laundry. I can't believe how much I am packing for a simple 4 day trip.
We are going in December also. Staying AKL DVC Concierge celebrating my 60th, which is really next week, but I promised DH we could do vacation somewhere else this year as long as I could do Disney in December. So I get to celebrate my Birthday on 5/10, the last two weeks of August when we go to AZ and then the first week of December in Disney. I figure I am turning 60, I deserve 3 parties.

Small world, I graduated from Media high school in 1966. It was the last year that it was a High school. After I graduated it became and Elem. school. I was raised in Marcus Hook which is about 25 minutes from Media.
