You all know the phrase "Laughter is the best medicine" right?

Well after this wonderful laugh fest tonight I am a believer....I still had a migraine leaving work and it got worse for a bit (I think the heat had something to do with it). Then I came on here and for 2 hours I forgot my troubles and my head. So thank you all for giving me what the dr. ordered!!

I forgot to tell you Elin that Cassidy took one look at you in the pic's from DC and said that looks like Aunt Terry....I tell you the resemblance is uncanny!! You and she are both hoots too!!

I second Theresa's "don't post too much tomorrow". With my mom, aunt, neice, nephew & 4 cousins (ages 11-14) here for tonight and maybe tomorrow night plus being two weeks behind at work and trying to get ready to go camping in my new trailer this week-end, I haven't had time to read this thread or read the 80+ pages from the TFZ. I'm never going to get caught up at this rate. 500+ posts in one night? Have you been drinking Paula's energy drinks?

Tia did you get any packing done?

Absolutely ZILCH!! It was right at 100 degrees today and we have no A/C. I just couldn't bear the thought of it so Terra and I spent the evening at the mall. We had fun at Barnes and Noble (a.k.a. the "'Naker Woods" due to the Pooh theme) and in the play area, then dinner at Johnny Rockets. I love oldies music and was so craving chili cheese fries. Tomorrow is supposed to be even worse and after that it should be high 70s/low 80s until we leave. Apparently I'm going to have my work cut out for me in that last 10 days.

Tia, how's the packing going? Are you excited about the move? How are Terra and Phil?

Since you and Jennifer are sharing the brain for now, I'll answer the second half for you...

I am SO excited!! I cannot wait to be home with my baby all day and to get to have fun with her, my niece and nephew. My baby sister (the 10yo) is already making plans for game nights, going to Six Flags and everything else that we can do. I can't wait!

Terra and Phil are doing great. Terra is really excited about the move too and talks about it all of the time. Phil just worries that I won't finish packing (things moved to quickly and I left him with 70% of it to do alone when we moved from CA so he has a legitimate fear). He has been feeling a little off the last week or so too and that isn't helping. An ultrasound last week showed his spleen was enlarged again, but I don't think they have any plans to do anything at this point. So, he just deals with the pain and other symptoms that causes. Thanks for asking!!

and I notice she hasn't answered...wonder if that means she's catching up or just doesn't want to answer. Hope it's that she got her daily quota packed!!

I hate moving too....we bought a couch at a garage sale this weekend and can't find anyone to help move it down to the dungeon...and I ain't paying 100+ for movers to do it. But it also tells me we're going to have to hire movers when we finally get out of here!! Blech!!

Oh man, I have a quota?!?! I do SO need to get on the ball. Why did this stupid weather have to happen now! Guess maybe I'll be suffering the heat tomorrow to make my quota.

ETA: And yes I was trying to catch up! You all are moving like greased lightening tonight. Must have been Lindsay's margaritas and Alicia's Capt.

I love, love, love Steel Magnolias. That is one of my top 3 movies of all times!

I was hoping it wouldn't get totally lost! I love that movie!! It was free on On Demand recently so I watched it just about every weekend when there was nothing else better on. Of course, I had Phil in the background saying "Don't you OWN that?!?!"
