To everyone who remembers me, Hi again!!!

Anyone who doesn't, I'm Gem and you lot all helped me have the holiday of a life time for me and my two children in 2009.

I was also proposed to on my return and now I'm a mad mum of 3!

So I'm planning on going back to the world again next October, before my baby boy Charlie is 2 so he's cheaper!

Has anything significant changed since October 2009?? Apart from the WWOHP which I can't wait to see!!!

I know the prices have! :O Last holiday was £2k, it's looking to be double that this time (although I was the only adult with my 2 children last time, this time there will be 2 adults, 2 children and 2 infant!)

Looking forward to re-discovering my obsession with Disney Planning! :D

Welcome back Gem
Yes prices have risen so hope you can find a deal for your dates.
Happy planning! :goodvibes

Welcome back  I hope you have fun planning your next holiday... and I agree, the prices have shot up!

Hiya Beth. Yeah October 2012 :D

If I could afford to go this year I would as Charlie wouldn't even be one yet and Cameron would be 8 so would still be in child tickets.

Adds a few hundred on park entry him being 9 next year (omg, I'll have a 9 year old! Where did that time go, he was 6 on the last trip :S).

I'm not going to tell them this time. :D I don't know how or when I will tell them, day before, on the way, at the airport, on the plane (f they haven't noticed yet lol) but got plenty of time to plan it :D

We're looking at about £4k for flights and hotel. Then on top of that spendng oney (about £2-3k) and and tickets. £1k?).

Does that sound about right or have a missed a bargain somewhere? Looking to book this month or next :D

Dont worry 9 year olds are still kids in disney eyes. Once they hit 10 its adult prices. Kids tickets are for kids aged 3-9

Welcome back and happy planning

Wow! Those disney resort prices have really shot up. We could have 4 adults staying in a 2 room suite right next to seaworld for £3200.

Then again, for disney theming it really cant be beat staying onsite, especially while they are kids.

£1k would do if you are only planning to do disney. It would be a shame to miss SeaWorld with the young ones though, they always seem to get a kick out of shamu. I would reccomend going at least once.

Spending money, for 4 adults staying offsite (so need more money) we are planning on taking about £2k spending money in 2013, so for 2012, 2-3k would easily be enough I reckon, especially with kids pricing systems being on your side. I can't speak for any of the free dining plans, as I have never used them.

Good luck with the planning!

We could never just do Disney, as much as I love it, I love Universal and Seaworld (and much more) just as much :D And can't wait to see WWOHP this time!

The kids loved Seaworld last time and we dined with Shamu which I hope we get to do again.

The only problem this time is that we went all out last time, all parks, tonnes of extras, loads of character meals, Clearwater etc so I'll have to do all that again this time round plus more! lo Ah well!! lol

Although this time my daughter will be 6 so we can do discovery cove!! Hubby to be isn't in to roller-coasters either which means the three of us can go on all the rides we couldn't go on last time (daughter too small and I was the only adult) while he sits with baby! :D

Hi gem glad to see you finally got df to agree to a trip!! Have fun planning and not telling the kids is zoo much fun I'm loving collecting little things ready for the big reveal lol

Any thoughts where you want to stay?
Just priced up OKW as free dining is on for Oct 2012, a studio would cost under £1,800 for 14 nights but include all you food. 1 or 2 bed villas more room but more money.

Well, he doesn't know were going yet! lol I keep saying 'we are going, I am going to book it, we will be going next year' and he just says 'yes ok dear'. Serves him right for not listening! lol

But I am looking for villas or something not so Disney ish this time so he can be a little happy not surrounded by 'all the too-happy people' lmao! Such a bloody misery lol

I was thinking OKW as df would like a more Villa esque holiday. It's the flights that will cost a bomb though. Baby should be free, or at least very cheap and the room needs to sleep 5, how big are the rooms?

OKW are the largest rooms in Disney, a studio is larger tham a standard hotel room but still too small for some. Next one up is a 1 bed villa, then largest is the 2 bed villa.
You can book any for 2 adults, 2 children & 1 infant.

Priced up with Complete Orlando who are cheaper than Disney
Studio £1,554
1 bed villa £2,114
2 bed villa £2,940
You have to add tickets to get free dining but these are great prices including all your food.
