We're booking through National & I found something weird. We had booked a midsize for 2/6 p.u. at 5PM, 2/14 drop at 7AM for $244. But if adjust our drop off time to 6PM on 12/14, the price drops to $212.
I'm assuming this has something to do with the fact that while the actual dates haven't changed we're going from 7 days 14 hours to 8 days 1 hour and that extra day makes a difference??
I called National to ask if we dropped off our car earlier then expected (with a confirmed reservation) if we would still get the $212 rate. I got a round around answer that it would be up to the person at the counter.
Any experience with this?
