We tried Guiseppe's and it was pretty good but I was wondering if Dune's is better.
What is your fav?

I think Dunes has closed. There was another pizza place in the same location this past summer but we didn't try it. We tried the Guiseppe's (Sea Pines) this past summer and really enjoyed it but the Dunes pizza was a little better when we were there the last 2 times in 2000 & 2001.

Unfortunately, Dunes has closed -- at least it wasn't there any more on our visit this past August. We're really sad about that. We loved their sandwiches, especially the Italian sausage with peppers and the delicious bread (hoagie). It was kind of a HH tradition with us to have Dunes deliver to us the night before we left. But, no more.

We LOVE Giuseppi's and wouldn't miss eating there on each trip. It's always been a highlite for us. Sorry that Dunes is closed (it was closed when we were there this summer), but always liked Giuseppi's better anyway.

Another vote for Giuseppi's. Never ate @ Dune's; sounds like we may never get a chance.

Another vote for Guiseppe's, but we never had the pleasure of trying dunes

YUK. I hate cheese. Only like mozzarella and ricotta, the mild "non-stinky" kind. We arrived at HH STARVING and headed to Guiseppe's. How sad was I to pick up a pizza that reeked of... provolone! Eeeeew.... Warning: Guiseppe's is a "gourmet" pizza, with odd ingredients. Not for everyone! I had pb&j for dinner that night!

I saw a pizza on a menu at HHI (it might be brick oven or Guiseppes" for a cheese-less pizza. The caption under the description said "No Cheese, No Whey" I thougt it was funny. I of course did not eat this, as I would not eat pizza without cheese. I only remember this because of the pun. I was just wanting Colleen to know that her kind of pizza is out there.

Thanks for the tip, Disnefile! Pope Ave. is down passed the Sea Pines circle, isn't it?

We had pizza at Guiseppe's and Mellow Mushroom. We liked both, maybe Mellow Mushroom a little more. We would go back to both places again.

You could also try Del Vecchios (near Legacy golf on the way to Sea Pines Circle) or Hilton Head Brewery. They both usually offer a 10% discount to DVC members.

Then you could report back to us. ;)

I am not sure if Hilton Head Brewery does take-out or delivery, but I think they have hearth-baked pizza there. Something a little different.
