We never go to HH in the summer months, so I can't compare, we always go in March. There are still a big variety of recreation offerings, although when I signed up for the tour of HH, I ended up being the only one. At that time of year, it's rarely warm enough to go swimming, but the mini-golf courses are open. All the resturaunts are open, and when we left the pizza place by Piggly Wiggly one night, there was what looked like almost an hour wait, making me wonder what it would be like in the summer! And when we went to Captain's seafood one night, we got the last available table. The island must be a zoo by comparison in the summer! We love going in March, but we don't swim and we've seen a lot of families with disappointed children at that time of year, because they can't really go to the beach.
