I am a Red Sox fan, and I noticed when watching this week's game: What's up with your fans?! Where are they? it seemed like all of Red Sox Nation was in your stadium! Audible crowd chants of "Let's Go Red Sox!" It just seemed weird to me. Are you guys all Astros fans or something?

As a Red Sox fan, I know Red Sox Nation is indeed EVERYWHERE, but it was opening week!

I noticed that also. Opening day seems to be a little more than half rooting for the home team, but the other two games seemed to be Red Sox heavy

Given the cost of Sox tickets, the cost of staying in Boston - not to mention the fact Fenway is sold out the entire season - a lot of Red Sox Nation has figured out that the best way to see them is to fly somewhere and seem them as the visiting team. Ever seen a Sox game in Tampa or Baltimore? I think they need to give Boston the home dugout in those parks.

My roommate and I were talking about that last night too. We were really pretty surprised; we figured most people would go to away games over the summer, not in April
