I just got a $25 gift certificate for House of Blues for $2.

Restaurant.com (note there is no "s" in this web address) is having a sale from July 23-31

Use the Promo code "PLATE" and $25 gift certificates are only $2!

They have lots of restaurants in Orlando including HOB, BB King's, and a few at the Swan/Dolphin.

You can only use one per visit, and you must wait a month before returning to the same restaurant. (Well, you can return, you just can't use a certificate.)

I think Teresa needs to buy a few and report back to the crew how they work out.

I am so obsessed with restaurant.com. The promo code "vacation" will also get you 60% off.

I got a $50 certificate to this place a few weeks ago. It was incredible. And even better for $6.

Restaurant.com replenishes their supply of certificates at the beginning of each month. As the month wears on, the availability gets limited, but the promo codes and discounts get better and better. The last few days of any month, you can get some great deals (if the restaurant you want is still available).

I have used my certificates at House of Blues twice now with no problems. I got $25 certificates for $2. Not a bad deal! If you sign up for their newsletter they are sending codes all the time.

Did the same thing. Love HOB, will use it in December!

Tried to use it for our upcoming DC trip...anyone tried to do this from Canada? I can't get past the payment info because it will not accept my postal code. I'd love to get these deals and even tried calling however they are not open on Sundays!

I've got 4 of the $25 certificates. (Paid $8!) Can I use multiples in one visit, or is that not kosher?

I was looking at some for the jacksonville area where my mom lives, for when i go visit her next month. If i were to purchase them now would they expire in a month or do they ever expire?

If anyone plans on dining offsite and likes sushi, we used a couple a Bento last yr. Really good sushi. I believe there is currently a gc on restaurant.com for the Bento near Universal. We also went to one in downtown Orlando. There were separate gc's on the site last yr for both locations. Oh and if you have a cigar afficionado along with you, Corona cigar is right next to the downtown Bento. It is a pretty cool cigar bar.

They are good for 1 year from the date of issue

The only thing to be careful about with these things is that when they say you have to purchase a certain amount of food, they really mean food, and not ridiculously expensive alcoholic beverages. :confused3:cloud9:

This is a great website and a money saver! I bought a few of these as teacher's gifts (went in a little basket with hand cream, shower gel, etc). I've got a few waiting to be used.

You don't have to print them off right away. You can keep them in your account and print them as you need them. Once you've purchase a certain number (not sure what it is), you get a special gift - I got $10 towards any certificate!

You do have to read the fine print but they are really easy to use.

LOVE sushi! Just had a bad experience with it, however, and it will be a while before I'll be trying it again. It's really disheartening because I think it was a fluke. We bought it from a reputable place that I've had it from MANY, MANY times before.

BUT - don't ever want to risk that again. Got food poisoning from cantaloupe one year. It was about 5 years before I could even THINK about eating it again. Even now, about 10 years later, I still think twice before I eat it. :)

You are right about reading the fine print, however some restaurants do allow you to purchase alcohol. We bought a $50 gc which has a min purchase of $100 but does not restrict alcohol and they have AWESOME drinks :goodvibes
