Hey Mom, Do I get to be the line leader again? A PTR…(My TR has started! - 6/1)

Am I reading that correctly? You are heading back in 18 days!!!! If I only I lived close enough to travel as often as you do.

:) Yup! I wasn't planning anything again until the fall. My friend Caitlin is in med school and doing a 3 week internship with a pediatrician in Orlando. So she has a hotel room there for 3 weeks paid for by the med school! She and her husband also have 1 day left on their FL res $99 4 day passes to use before the end of the month, so things just kind of fell in to place. I'll join them on Sunday May 16 - we've decided on Animal Kingdom! We got DRENCHED in a rain storm there in early March and missed a lot because the park basically shut down since it was a thunderstorm.
We even managed a last minute ADR for California Grill! I'm so excited to take my friends there so they can see the fireworks and have sushi!

Gooo Megan! Congrats on finishing the race. I like the photo of you from the side because it shows how skinny you are now!

Those Disney movie theme nights look awesome. What a great idea. Can't wait to see what gets cooked for Lady and the Tramp night!

You should have a seafood night and watch The Little Mermaid.....eat some of Sebastian's and Flounder's cousins.

Love the pics of the race Megan! Especially the pics of the end of the race...you can really see how thrilled you were to meet the goal. Congrats on getting it done girl!!

Love the P&F night pics too. Glad you convinced Alisa and Randy to get into it with you guys. It's a really fun way to get excited for your trip. :goodvibes

Thanks Leanne! My sister was at the finish line with her little girl and the boys. She didn't get a picture of me when I saw them cheering me on. I had a huge grin on my face then.

I knew he would get into eventually. He just had to do it once and check it out to understand my plan.

Yeah, I'm right there with you on the excitement!!!

Alisa and I came up with the following for the next weekend.. not sure who wants to host.. we can talk about it this Saturday:

1. Lion King Night- Grill some steaks, chicken, burgers and hotdogs...

2. Wall-E- may seem like kind of a cop-out cooking wise - but you could "grow some pizza"...

3. Tarzan- Cook basically anything and have a nice, big FRUIT SALAD.. bananas.. pineapples, oranges, etc..

4. Meet the Robinsons- Cook anything.. perhaps some of the "wacky food" that they eat during dinner....

Only 18 short days left...
My days are going to be going by SO FAST until we leave with Spring Football at CCA... it is awesome!!!

Mind if I post some of my pics from the Princess and the Frog night???

We'll talk about the last one on Saturday after we finish your meal. I was planning to host the last one since this was all my doing.

Post away.

Lucky duck!!! Have fun!

Thanks Abby! I don't notice the weight loss much unless it is in a picture.

We are having a blast with the theme nights. Lots of good family fun going on with us. We're all related in one way or another.

We're working on that last meal.

So, we are just days until the trip. I figured I might as well finish up my TR portion of this report. After this installment, there will only be two left.

We had just watched FOTLK when I left off. After the show, we had our traditional morning snack...Ice cream!

Gotta love a toddler making a mess with ice cream. The boys have this tradition down to the point that Sam points out the ice cream cart and the bench for us to stop at when the show is over.

Sam and Bryan took a little longer to finish up, so Cooper went to the nearby Exploration Station to mess around.

After the ice cream was finished, we headed over to Asia. Sam wanted to ride Kali again, and Cooper and I were going to walk around Maharajah.

We ended up spending the rest of the morning just exploring through shops and letting the boys play. We weren't worried about riding EE again. Sam gets kinda scared watching ITTBAB. We had just watched Finding Nemo in February, so we were perfectly content with leaving the park after that.

Just a few of our Photopass pics to share.

After leaving AK, we hopped in our truck at Kidani to drive over to DTD to have lunch at Earl of Sandwich. It was a late lunch for us. We walked around for just a few minutes because the boys wanted to go to the hotel to swim.

Unfortunately, that plan lasted a short time. The pool was closed after we were there for about 30 minutes because of lightening. We headed back to the room for some cleaning up (both ourselves and the room) before we headed out for our traditional last supper at Chef Mickey's.

I love that you don't mind your kiddies getting a little dirty! It makes for such cute pictures! Plus, they obviously get to enjoy themselves! I say that just because I know I'd probably have a fit over the little things, and I know I need to relax! Haha, I go insane, for example, when a kid touches my whiteboard in my classroom! I hate the smudges and the finger oils. I also freak out if we have a party in the room, and cupcake sprinkles get all over the floor (strangely, my room is carpeted). Sometimes I gotta let kids be kids!

Great update Megan! Cooper was really getting into that Mickey bar! I have cute pics of the girls doing that too. Soooo sweet.

I really like your photopass pics. The second one is really nice of all 4 of you. Everyone has a nice smile in that one. Do you have that one printed??

We are getting super close now!! Can't wait!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Love the ice cream pics!!! THAT'S how you eat Mickey ears!!! Looked like a nice, relaxing day for you guys. It is amazing how much thinner both you and your husband are going to be for this upcoming trip. Both you and Bryan look 20-30 lbs lighter.. great job!!!

Where are we at.. 16 days now... wooo hooo!!!

Cooper looks as if he's totally enjoying that ice cream bar!

Could you imagine how big a task it would be to keep two little boys clean ALL the time?!?! They need to enjoy themselves and just be kids.

It's different when it's your own kids. I hate the hands on the whiteboard as well. It bothers me if my students even dare TOUCH my expo markers.

Disney is where we completely let loose.

Why is your classroom carpeted? That seems odd for school.
