Hey Mom, Do I get to be the line leader again? A PTR…(My TR has started! - 6/1)

I can't tell you how proud I am of you, Megan. You were a real solja'! The wind was a huge challenge, and it was hot and muggy.. I was hoping for some rain, but alas it never happened. I don't think your husband even broke a sweat during the entire run LOL.. but I really had a great time.. you were amazing. Proving once again, a person can do anything they put their mind to, I know you felt fantastic!

Princess and the Frog night was a HUGE hit. The food was great, the movie was awesome and the company/family time was priceless!!!

This coming Saturday get ready for the best spaghetti and "meataballs" you've ever tasted!!! We will have that along with "Dog Bones" and some toasted garlic bread!!! And of course, the best popcorn to enjoy during the movie as well! This weekend I'll be making my special "cajun popcorn" as well! It is going to be a great night!!!

Can you believe it, only TWO MORE MONDAYS 'til we leave!!!

LIFE IS GOOD!!!

Congratulations! on your race!!!
sounds like a great Disney night and lots of fun! Lady and the Tramp will be such a fun night as well!!! it so exciting that your trip will be here in a few short weeks! :mickeyjum

Congratulations!!! on finishing your race. So nice of the guys to stick with you

Princess and the Frog night looks like a lot of fun! :woohoo:

Great update, Thanks Megan

CONGRATS on the 5K!!! What a huge accomplishment!! And the Princess and the Frog night looks like soooo much fun!! Love your pictures!! :goodvibes

Congrats on your 5K---What an accomplishment! :thumbsup2 I've dealt with 100% humidity (I do live in Alabama), and that's just yucky. It was very humid here that day too, (a foreshadowing of the day's storms, more than likely).

You Princess and the Frog night sounds fabulous! I wanted to crawl through the computer and eat that shrimp! :)

Congrats on the race! I bet it was not fun in 100% humidity...

Your pictures from The Princess & The Frog night were great. All the food looked so good....I like the Mickey bowl that the M&Ms were in too!

Congratulations on finishing the race! Such an accomplishment. If I had realized the weather conditions, I would've been a bad person and been like, "I can't do it!" But you persevered anyway, so it's even a bigger accomplishment!

Ooo, your other Disney night looked like fun! The frog cookies look delish!

100% humidity? Yuck! It certainly makes for a difficult race! I'm envious of anyone who finishes something like that, though.

As for the Disney night--those kids look like they had so much fun decorating the cookies!

Definitely YUCK! That particular run was a lot more difficult than any other run I have done.

They had a blast decorating those cookies. They just kept adding more and more stuff to the top.

Thanks Randy!!! Bryan kept telling me that this was something that he never thought I would do. It makes me so happy that I set myself a goal and actually accomplished it. Thanks for sticking with me.

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. To think that you all kind of rolled your eyes at my original suggestion. We are having such wonderful time as family celebrating our upcoming trip. I can't ask for anything more.

I am looking forward to your night. Especially since Alisa has told me that you have forbidden her from cooking. We can't wait. The boys look forward to each meal. I can't believe that next weekend is the last on before we leave. I have been thinking about what we could do for that one with the boys.

Our countdown chain is so short now. The excitement is almost unbearable at times.

Congratulations! on your race!!!

Thanks Connie! It was tough, but it meant a lot to me to actually be able to finish it. I was actually ready to stop the minute I hit the leg where I ran into the wind, but I did not want to have to come here to tell you all that I couldn't do it. All of you were with me.

We are having a blast with them. We are getting so excited about the trip.

Congratulations!!! on finishing your race. So nice of the guys to stick with you

Princess and the Frog night looks like a lot of fun! :woohoo:

Great update, Thanks Megan

Thanks Tina! I was so proud of them to stick with me and my short strides when I knew they could go so much faster.

Lots of fun was had by all!

CONGRATS on the 5K!!! What a huge accomplishment!! And the Princess and the Frog night looks like soooo much fun!! Love your pictures!! :goodvibes

Thanks Becky! It was efinitely one of the toughest things I have ever done! I can't wait to have our next meal to share it with yall.

You Princess and the Frog night sounds fabulous! I wanted to crawl through the computer and eat that shrimp! :)

Thanks Michelle! It was probably the same thing you had. It definitely felt like it could rain at any second. It felt completely yucky!!!

Gotta love Gulf shrimp. Sooooooo yummmmmmmmy!

Congrats on the race! I bet it was not fun in 100% humidity...

Your pictures from The Princess & The Frog night were great. All the food looked so good....I like the Mickey bowl that the M&Ms were in too!

Definitely not fun in that weather....

Stacey found that Miceky bowl at Target on Saturday. I need to head over there and see if I can find one for myself as well.

Thanks Ninja! I didn't want to tell yall I couldn't do it, so that was definitely not an option.

Believe it or not, I didn't even try one of the frogs. However, Zach gave them a big thumbs up.

Congrats on the 5K :thumbsup2. You are so right about the humidity too, my hair was wet Saturday just walking around.

:banana::dancer:party: 19 DAYS :banana::dancer:party:

Love the pics of the race Megan! Especially the pics of the end of the race...you can really see how thrilled you were to meet the goal. Congrats on getting it done girl!!

Love the P&F night pics too. Glad you convinced Alisa and Randy to get into it with you guys. It's a really fun way to get excited for your trip. :goodvibes

Yeah, I'm right there with you on the excitement!!!

Alisa and I came up with the following for the next weekend.. not sure who wants to host.. we can talk about it this Saturday:

1. Lion King Night- Grill some steaks, chicken, burgers and hotdogs...

2. Wall-E- may seem like kind of a cop-out cooking wise - but you could "grow some pizza"...

3. Tarzan- Cook basically anything and have a nice, big FRUIT SALAD.. bananas.. pineapples, oranges, etc..

4. Meet the Robinsons- Cook anything.. perhaps some of the "wacky food" that they eat during dinner....

Only 18 short days left...
My days are going to be going by SO FAST until we leave with Spring Football at CCA... it is awesome!!!

Mind if I post some of my pics from the Princess and the Frog night???
